Chess - The Game Of Kings ... 

Hello ... fancy a game of chess?
I've uploaded this video for fans of those who like 'upcycled' things ...
These are hand made pieces.
I've watched quite a few 'how to' videos online - the majority showing very highly crafted sets made by craftsmen who have some impressive skills ... (along with some ultra professional tools) ... 🙂
My journey is really at the opposite end of the spectrum as I've never made a single chess piece (prior to attempting this) and I only have some fairly 'basic' DIY tools that I use for various jobs around the home ...
My son recently gave me a 'mini-lathe' as a present along with a set of vernier calipers and some other very welcome tools ...
So ... I made these ...
