Jumps really well without mature leg muscles. Doesn't bitch when he gets knocked down. Impressive ball-handling skills. Would love to see him try the sky hook. Kid has a future.
@@timcarter817 your probably too stupid to know who Kareem abdul Jabar is. Well Kareem is the all time nba scorer. And he did it with the skyhook A fucking unblockable shot. Learn your history boomer
Definitely not an elite protector, you need to take into account the fact that he’s guarding guys the size of a guard and mostly camping at the rim. At times he’ll block a perimeter shot, but that’s expected at his size and the skill level he plays at. His ball handling is okay, but his hang time on the ball (especially with his crossovers) is so slow it’s ridiculous.
@@afrothunder142 he routinely destroys everybody at the major camps, playing against the best players in his class. But sure. Go back to Shawshank, dipshit
Raw talent and great rim protector. Has potential to be and elite scorer. He needs to put on muscle and weight. If he can do that and maintain the speed, defense, and scoring ability. I can see this man playing pro anywhere.
Priscilla S literally so many basketball stars say for example luka mostly everyone said he would be trash and look at him now I just hope this kid proves all y’all haters wrong
@@michaelhughes5373 Most definitely!!! Being that tall with little to no muscle is dangerous on regular street ball level. But college and NBA!!! It can be a career change...
People (Barkley in particular) thought KD was too skinny in 07, look at him now. Few years of work and this kid could really thicken up and have a Giannis like transformation.
College is going to do wonders for this guy. They'll be able to get him in the weight room consistently and have a good nutrition plan for packing on muscle. Once he gets the size he'll be a serious force at the upper levels
Lol well, u can clearly tell he's a beast wtf. Don't gotta be a weath man to know its raining but I know what you're saying. My one friend thinks he a basketball genius because he thought Tray Young was going to be good NBA player lol
Little muscle, footwork and someone to really buckle down and school him on inside presence.... this young man is gonna be scary good. He already has a incredible touch and is blocking shots with authority. Chet will be the next finesse big man in the league.
@@treveyonhendersonenthuiast1379 he seems to skinny imo to be able to be one and done in the big ten. Should go to zags where he can beat up on inferior players. Mark my words he goes to the big ten he will not be a one and done top 10 pick. To many men down low, skinny kid won't make it
Seriously though, he needs to start rock climbing or bouldering in an indoor facility. It would create flexibility in his muscles and prevent him from getting injured while actually building muscles
Everyone keep saying he needs to add weight. His game is perimeter oriented, he's an NBA small forward, just needs to work on getting stronger and improve his quickness. He's a Porzingis, with heart and toughness.
This kid is straight up nasty. 7' steal the ball from a PG and take it to the rack. Going baseline on a G and posterizing him. Dropping 3s, blocks, steals, rebounds...kid is just hella talented. His body will develop. Hes still young.
He does have pretty good handles, shoots well from mid range and outside especially for a 7 ft player, but it’s hard to see him preforming well on either end in the low post or at the rim at the college level unless he gains weight to be able to deal with contact better. However, I think the potential is there, for sure. He seems to have a pretty competitive mindset too, hopefully that determination serves him well as progresses to college and the competition gets better.
His wingspan right now is only topped by 4 NBA players: Whiteside, Gobert, Mo Bamba, and Tacko. He’s already better than any of them offensively and still growing.
Don’t hate... this kid is awesome... 3 point range... brings the up court with handles... blocks shots... can get his own shot... still growing... think George Gervin, Kevin Durant... hell Kevin was skinny in high school and college... and is still skinny in the pros and is doing just fine last time l checked
He really looks like all the glass cleaning finishers in 2k21🤣 not the playstyle but the body build. he is definitely a certified bucket though, a mean rim protector and can shoot it too. I could see a giannis comp when he adds more weight
I like him a lot a mix between kg and Kevin Durant high skill level and impressive athleticism.....power move for him is to skip last AAU season to work on his body..no need to showcase what everybody knows he’s gonna be great
He's Basically the White K.D LOL Very Skinny Good Ball-Handling Skills Awesome shooting ability ... He just needs to gain more weight, and he'l be dominant in college.
@@JBjAA but KD had a yr of college to put on weight. This kid is still in high school and more than lightly will do at least 2 yrs of college ball. By the time he reaches the NBA he shouldn't be as skinny as he is now.
This kids a light skinned Manute Bol. He has some game, I won't deny that. Luckily nobody plays in the paint like they used to. Players like Malone, Shaq, and Barkley would feast on him. Hope there's a Fat Burger or Smash Burger in Spokane.
@@JBjAA this kid is a match up problem for any school. 7 foot, with a good outside shot and he can handle the rock. He won't be a post player in college. But i agree he needs more size, which he'll get in college.
He’s not as good as he’s being hyped. I get it’s a weak class, but unless he develops a ton in college, he’s not going pro. He has the tools for sure, but his style of play isn’t suited for the nba like most think. He’s a spot up stretch big, yea. But he also tends to iso guards and smaller dudes, which trust me, with his handles is not smart. He tends to miss a bunch of easy looks under the rim, and most of his blocks come from camping under the rim and stuffing guards (which there is nothing wrong with, but it’ll make him look like a way more elite rim protector than he really is against more stiff and athletic players). I hope he does good, but I wouldn’t waste a scholarship offer on him.
@@MrRyan-wu4jx no I’m just someone who doesn’t hop on hype. There’s obvious flaws in his game that are too big to ignore no matter how early on in his career he is. His height is his only asset, and while you can’t teach height, you can’t teach someone how to not be soft either. He plays soft.
@@afrothunder142 that “not drafted” stuff is nonsense. He would have the fourth longest wingspan in the NBA right now, the guys that have longer ones are Whiteside, Gobert, Mo Bamba, and Tacko probably aren’t as good as he is offensively right now. To say he’s overhyped is one thing, to say he’s not gonna be drafted is just idiocy. You’re saying 59 guys are gonna jump this kid in prospect rankings in one year. You have no idea what you are talking about and should never scout nba players again.
He definitely is the new age Shawn Bradley! He got skill he probably should go straight to the nba g lg program so he can work everyday like a pro!! if he goes to college to long I think will hurt his stock!! Stay a mystery as long as possible and keep working🦄
He's got the Bol Bol frame. Which is not a good thing. Skill level is there and if he can put on weight is a lottery prospect at the NBA level... But his body has to get bigger, nothing else matters if that doesn't happen.
Whoever gets Chet in the draft, will never lose another game. He is the best prospect in the history of basketball. It's not close. The Catholic Church is the only means of Salvation, of course.
