Details? What details. The one part I was watching the video to see was completely omitted. Not my first rodeo though. I have replace many fuel pumps in my life time. Just if there is rust on top of the tank. Clean it off before removal of the fuel pump. So you don't contaminate the tank.

Mines in the garage and the return line actually broke while my truck was in my garage and I for three months now we’ve been smelling gas every time I walk by the truck and I kind of knew what it was because I have an 85 Chevy pick up with the same shit set up you would think that some engineer somewhere would make those little 3 inch lines coming out of the tank got a stainless or copper or something that wouldn’t write off in nine years? When I put the new one up in there it’s either going to have eight coats of paint on it or I’m going to fill that little well with tar? Or I may paint all those metal tabs tubing with Apoxsee so the Apoxsee will harden like paint good job realistic set up I saw a guy do one on a truck 10 years old with no rust underneath the truck got it must be nice to live somewhere like that 😳 Thanks for the video I learned a few things so now when I crawl under the bitch I’ll at least know what I’m looking for❤️🇺🇸
I have a question because my uncle is a piece of **** and my truck beats his trucks *** I have sugar in my gas tank. I almost always have problems with mechanics shops ripping me off (Two bleeder bolts should not cost over $500). So my question is, how much damage can a hand full of sugar cubes (about 1 cup) do to a 2002 Chevy Avalanche? I had approximately 20 to 25 gallons of gas in the tank at the time. Standard size is a 31gallon gas tank. I was out of town when it happened so the truck was driven about 150 miles after being sugared. At no time do I ever let the tank drop below 1/2 before filling. The truck also had oil change, gas treatment, new air filters ect. ect. 2 weeks prior to this happening. It drove just fine coming home, will fire rite up, no cutting out, no loss of power when accelerating, no burning sugar smell, no obvious problems/damages at all. If I didn't already, WITHOUT A DOUBT, know that he put that sugar in my gas tank, I would never suspect any problems. P.S. The same Uncle drove a 3 1/2-inch nail into one of my tiers on our last trip. Again, didn't learn about it until we got home. I ride on IRON MAN ALL-TERRAIN TIRES and I highly recommend them. The nail never even phased the tire's performance going 55-70mph on what was an extremely winding road with 25mph corners in some parts.... I am a single mother with 2 daughters... Highly recommend them.
