I used one of those on a Jeep conversion. Oddly powerful but not at all water proof! I took the Jeep off the road recently and removed the EPAS unit and water went everywhere. I took it apart and it turns out the grease in the gearbox is semi-water soluble. It doesn't look like it caused any damage but it can't be good.
Great video. I am looking to do this on a 64 C10 and this is great info. Obviously some difference in the fender well but I think the only difference is mine will be closer to the firewall. The art of making a bracket look nice in my book is to paint it black and put it back!!

@@Good-Enuff-Garage Will be working on it in the next couple of weeks. I've been putting a lift kit on it currently so once I get that complete going to probably look into the tesla/CRV style electric brake setup as well. At some point I am going to be swapping in a LS with a pretty rowdy cam so probably just saving myself a vacuum related headache later.
