Maybe just go to the next Dealership or Salesman and listen to it IRL. Was thinking the same way first, but after witnessing and comparing both IRL - things changed
I’ve owned Both Chevy v6 engines don’t sound bad some will call it “Rice” but I’ve been pulled and the officer didn’t know it was a v6 til I told him they idle pretty aggressive & I live Texas our cops are quick to tell you if yo car sounds like shit😂
@@camss8094 why can’t v6 and v8 camaro lovers get along and hate on jdm cars at the end of the time both are part of the muscle car family along with mustangs challengers and chargers etc.. half the time ppl hating on v6 don’t even have a v8 they drive a little suv or a sedan
Hey I have a 5.7 obs Chevy truck, it comes down from manifold into one pipe through a high flow cat then straight piped all the way back and out the side behind the rear wheel. I need it to be quieter for the winter time as I have to let it warm up early in the morning. I need help on a muffler I can put on it that will make it super quiet on idle but loud with acceleration. Thanks
Adding valves will immidiately solve this problem. My camaro is extremely quiet until acceleration. Basically a valve that is held shut with a spring, when pressure from acceleration builds up, the spring is compressed and the exhaust opens up
Not really, true gear heads would always pick the V8, more power, just better, so if you are a true gear head and look for the best performance( a true gear head). then GET THE V8 You will be glad you did, the V6 always leaves you wanting a bit more torque, it just not quite quick enough. That is why I traded my 2014 RS for a 2016 2SS. The upgrade is quite substantial and worth every penny!!!!! best way to put it, the V6 is barely quicker than a Mazda Miata, the V8 eats Miata's as a snack.... At a stop light the V6 makes you feel vulnerable, the V8 makes you feel like a winner just sitting there, You know you have already won and don't even have to try. 289 lbft VS. 455 lbft of torque. just no comparison
@@phillyphil1513 LOLOL. the video title 6.2 VS. 3.6. umm. VERSES, that means a contest and I think the winner is the 6.2, biased??? I have had both the 3.6 and the 6.2. so MY opinion is closer to fact than you are giving it. I had a 2014 RS 3.6 and I traded it for a 2016 2SS 6.2. I was wondering if you have ever even owned a Camaro??? Both motors are good but the 3.6 is also found in a Chevy Travers , meanwhile the LT1 comes out of the Corvette, BIASED? or smart? I have owned both and the LT1 absolutely destroys the 3.6. FACT!!!! Im guessing you must own the 3.6 or maybe nothing at all so while I may be biased, You are completely uninformed......
I have a v6 straight piped and after hearing the v6 compared to the v8 takeoff the v6 sounds 100x better than the v8. but reving from the inside v8 for sure. I just think the v6 sounds better with the straight pipe but I think the v8 would sound better with a Corsa setup
LOL. when you drive the SS you will agree, the RS. really sucks. The SS absolutely destroys the V6 especially the LT1, I traded my 2014 RS for a 2016 2SS and WOW what an upgrade!!!! the V8 is a monster and if you have the money, GET THE UPGRADE!!!!
