I am having the same issue on my 12 camaro, I've inspected the wiring in the harness and no wires appear to be damaged or broke. I've replaced the K609 relay with no change. I do have 12 volts on pin 4, pin 2 has ground, pin 1 I get nothing when the button is pushed, what should I be getting on pin 1 when button is pushed? Does pin 1 wire go back to relay? Was wanting to test continuity. Update, I was able to test the continuity of pin 1, it does go back to the K609 relay. Not sure what I should get on pin 1 when the button is pressed. Not sure if it could be the trunk actuator or my BCM
So if you get 0.38v to like 3v or something on the #4 lid ajar switch signal connection that is faulty? And would that cause the other function of trunk lid release not to work... don't want to tear apart harness if not needed.. nor buy a new latch assembly if not needed.. also .. no point to check fuse right as if blown no power at all...??? ( i did check on 9volt battery for 8.59 volts and others for 1.5v so I know Im using the multimeter right..lol ( I tore apart the looming/tape and found nothing in the "flex region" except TWO 3mm plastic rods about 8 or so inches longs that were put there to restrict flexing of the wires at the weak point. I'm assuming it's the latch.. but not sure.. 12 volts at the lid release and 1 or some weird # from .38 to 3 at the lid ajar wire I believe... Finally located the fuse box.. lol anyways driver's side.. no obvious handle or label.. the GF said she didn't hear a sound anymore.. no click.. the k609 relay seemed to be falling out.. now it makes a sound when I push the pop the trunk but still no worky... fuse is ok but relay idk.. UPDATE.. duh... I forgot to plug the connector back in after finding the relay loose.. trunk works.. relay was not seated fully....dealer trick.. idk
If you go behind your rear seat to access the trunk, (bend the rear seat foward) there should be a manual level you can pull to get the drunk open manualy!

Mine does the Same clicks no release, I was told it is bcm , but I have other things not working 1 signal brake light on rear and dome lights and traction comtrol button has power but none work
@@RodriguezRepairs Thank you for replying. We found out that there is a keyhole hidden in the back seat. After oiling the keyhole, it popped open with a simple turn. Again thank you.
