Have a 09 LS, 15K miles! Yes, thats "fifteen thousand". KONI sport struts and shocks, ZZP front and rear sway bars, springs, strut bar, tube lower control arms, intake, shorty header, 2.5 exhaust with cross climate tires. It won't break any sound barriers but it handles like a mini VETTE. Gas mileage is 30+ and it is super fun to rip around in. These little cars are always overlooked.
I have an 05 base model got in 2014 with 112k it now has 249k and still going only big thing so far maintenance wise I’ve done is the timing chain replacement
I own a 08 ls and I’ve been thinking about modding it a little. Always nice to see a cobalt in good condition. Slept on cars in my opinion, those 2.2s are bulletproof.
Such a beautiful cobalt. The rims and the tail lights are a really nice touch. I didn't know the lt could have fog lights so thats pretty cool. Great color as well.
I had an 07 Lt coupe with the intake and 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back from the cat with GM performance resonator and muffler with a tip and got up 45-48 MPG going through Arizona and 30 mpg at 100 mph through Ft Worth/Dallas once, open it all up and it'll get crazy mpg. If you do any sporty driving take it out of overdrive and into second gear and it's like a performance mode as it shifts later in the RPM range plus rev match shifts under hard braking, it'll still do it's limited top speed and won't hurt it as I did it pretty often with zero problems. Some sporty automatic cars comes with and advertises that feature with a push of a button, but the Cobalt does advertise it in any way but it works. Stay safe and God bless
Just got a 08’ cobalt lt “special edition” with 143k miles on it, stopped starting on me after 2 days, got jump started right up tho so hopefully it’s the battery or some connection between alternator and battery becasue it will go as long as it’s on. Soon as I shut it off it don’t got enough juice to start back up
