I was amazed how easily the wrecker seemed to lift the truck out of the sand. You said you were expecting the front end to lift, but I was worried it might damage the boom.
The 'ol square body never ceases to amaze me. Watching it crawling on the rocks in a video a few weeks ago was very surprising given that it does not have the flex that something like the morvair has.
I was going to say this above, but I'll say it here instead. Quick thinking and resourcefulness on you part saved that vehicle. No telling what would have happened to it had you not anchored it.
Michael Carroll There sure are a lot of people who've never been in a flash flood but are doling out info like they're some kind of experts on what to do. They live life on their sofas while you go out and seek adventure! Keep having fun! You're also a great story teller!
Secret ! I agree with you 100% but the person right below your comment is a expert on flash floods so if you don't believe me, read what he keeps posting. Oh, he wasn't there, btw. He was safely at home eating crackers like a good parrot. lol
@@Eyes0penNoFear After getting my dog out of the cab I tossed my recovery and strap bag out of the truck. The flood was coming in surges. The water dropped to a point where I could stand to the side on a newly formed sand ridge and get a chain on the truck with out being in the water. Then another wall of water came at the truck. I am formaly a water safety and boating instructor. It was not worth my life to try and wade in to white water but when I had the chance to secure the truck safely I took it.
These customers seem to live life by the moto, "don't worry, be happy. It always amazes me the positive attitude the adventure type people have when they are stuck and Matt gets them out. They remain happy and just go with the flow. The world would be a much better place if all people had the same attitude.
@@lowellcrabb151 Well I figured tieing it off would keep the rear end up and it from sinikning in deeper because water was going down the rock face and surging up under the rear end. We had zero water damage.
So my two and a half year old daughter out the blue pipes up and says "so we got a call about a baby stuck in the mud''. Guess I have been watching a bit of Matt's off road recovery! Love your videos :)
I love the fact that Matt brings on others to help get the job done and help other channels grow! He could of got it out with the morrvair but the BSF wrecker was a better choice in this situation as he said.
This is by far THE BEST channel I’ve ever found, I am so happy that I found these videos about 2 years ago, I’m glad Matt’s family an Friends share there adventures & jobs with us & it’s One of the best consistent things I have to drowned out some of the shitty everyday occurrence’s. SO THANK YOU MATTS OFF-ROAD RECOVERY. I LOVE WHAT Y’ALL DO!
You left a wonderful comment that many of the viewers can relate to. You deserve your likes and there’s no doubt that we love this channel because of the morr team attitude and vibes. I love me some Sunday morning morr videos. Gets my day off on the good foot.
Matt, you have one of the healthiest and well-balanced egos of anyone I've ever seen. It truly makes your videos more welcoming. You're an amazing role model, and little kids everywhere need to be exposed to more light-hearted, level-headed, wholesome fun that you and your crew bring to the table. Keep up the great work MORR fam!
I've seen a few people comment about how this channel is better than anything on TV, and I agree. Absolutely love watching this channel for several reasons, great scenery, the teamwork, the rigs and of course Matt and his crew. We live in Michigan and have some nice trails and the Silver Lake sand dunes, but wheeling in the desert looks amazing. Also love the recoveries having driven a rollback for a couple of years.
Same here. Started watching BSF a few years back and about a year ago I found Matt's channel. It is great to see the different methods, equipment, and problems used in the different terrains.
@@TwiztidKlownzTX I agree. Each group has mastered the terrain they work in. It’s interesting to see how they fair helping each other out. Seeing grown men be humble enough to listen to another man is what has kept American going. All of them are experts, but still listen to one another.
Thanks for adding the temperature on Centigrade. I can't do the maths in my head & these days you have lots of European fans - like me. This one is like a rescue convoy road trip with junk food & all of road rescue family.
Hello matt, I just recently discovered this channel and just wanted to say it's an absoutle gem! Matt watching you and your brilliant family/friends working together in a beautiful landscape surprisingly makes for the best entertainment on RU-vid! When I'm miserable at work, just watching half of one of your videos makes my mood alittle better, so thanks again from the uk! :)
Awesome to see different recovery companies work together and have fun doing it. You could teach others reckers to be non competitive and have friendships. Matt, we are always learning from you, thanks. Us crazy old retired farts really enjoy your's and fab rats videos. Be well and stay save. 👍👍👍👍👍🇨🇦🐶❤
Its a different story when they're doing off road recovery and not towing in a major metropolitan city. Much less competition for calls in their field.
MATT, hello, but when I saw that ‘DURAMAX’ so far down in mud, I really wondered , but your buddies BSF RECOVERY, sure LIFTED, then pulled, HOT DAMNED , that sucker came loose, , but just listening to the owner said how it happened. reminds me of a similar incident in 1958 , on a motor cycle , seeing about 18” ow water coming down this STRAIGHT ROAD, IN THE SUN,, A storm miles up happened, so that water was going downhill, my way, That was in the tropics. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hey Matt I really enjoy you guy's. I've been watching you for about 2-3 years. This is the first time to comment. I found this trick somewhere and wanted to share. When you need some "Lift" on your straight pull, hook low then run your line up over a spare tire to the pull vehicle. then when you start pulling the spare tire will roll applying the pull upward. Hope that makes sense. nice work.
Well done. I thought it would be harder. I have said it before but it bears repeating. Thank you for your ongoing recovery tutorial. I have learned a lot and I am grateful.
I believe watching BSF recovery was what led my RU-vid suggestions to Matt’s off-road. I was in hospital for a stem cell transplant-chemotherapy. Spent a lot of time just watching videos. BSF was a hit I loved. Matt came on and thought, wow this is different. No winch. No boom. Just yank! Love to see y’all do these crossover episodes. It’s really awesome!
I like how you said you were taking the advice of all the other experts there! Too many people are in the mind set of "My way or the Highway"! Great recovery!
When I first saw the truck stuck , I said , it may take ALL OF THE TOW -ERS to get it out ,, But because of the Sand it made it a Gift to pull it out !!! YAAAA A CAKE JOB !!!! Now LUNCH !!!!! FUN VIDEO !!!!! THANK YOU !!! LOVED IT ..
That Was a Wonderful Video ! it's Nice to Get All the Rescue Family's together & Have a Rescue Party 🎉 🎈. Thanks for Spreading the Rescue Love ❤️. Family is Good !
Matt needs an OffRoad wrecker. At least a 4-6 foot tall folding bipod boom with foot plates so a straight pull can put some lift to break suction and get the wheel out of the hole. Just an idea. Love y’all’s work, and BSF and TrailMater!
Thanks for your videos and involvement in the community. As a retired officer was involved with shop with a cop for several years, an awesome event! Just ordered a patch to help out. Thanks again for caring!
Great recovery MORR team and friends. I am just happy to hear that the couple are safe and able to laugh the experience off. 💞 Stay Happy 😂 Safe and Healthy everyone 💕
The good thing about going on a recovery team with Matt is the channel bump you get from 881,000 Subs of Matt's channel. Did anyone have any doubt Matt was going to "Get em out!" ? If so, you don't know Matt's determination and resolve. Oh, yes I clicked on the link and yes I subscribed to Eric's channel and so should everyone who Subs Matt's channel, these are good dudes!
Great job!! I’ve done this. Buried it up to the gas tank and then some. Broke every handle on every digging implement, including the hammer. That was a long day. Such is off-roading life. 😊
I LOVE dulies on the trails...I have a dream of a Gladiator with a dana 80 dulley in the rear and d60 up front...maybe even a tow boom in the rear...I can dream right hahahaha..good show guys and ladies.
Sweet!!! Literally my 3 favorite off road recovery specialists working together! It don't get better then that. Thanks Matt! Absolutely love your channel!
I’ve been watching you guys for a long time. Do you have a patreon or anything? I’d love to support you guys to the next level! Keep doing what your doing, love it!
Can't disagree with any of the viewers comments. Seeing Matt, "The Quiet, Serious Man" assume the "MC" duties was great! Seriously, this video was a PLEASANT experience (I mean that as the highest compliment). The video production was at your usual high standards - great job on showing the actual recovery and the drone shots with an equally great job capturing all the laughs, smiles and friendly banter.
I'm in Arizona and it's on my bucket list to get stuck in a wash just so I can meet Matt and the crew and watch them get me un-stuck with the MORRVAIR!!
Wow - Hats off, people. I absolutely love your channel and the content you produce. I'm in Hong Kong now, but I used to live in North Phoenix and am familiar with desert-weather and conditions. I am SO glad those stuck in bad conditions have people like you all to help them. Real people, Real problems, and Real solutions... Cheers!
Just discovered Rory's chanel a few days ago and wondered if you guys were competitors. So glad to see the friendship and BSF was a bonus! An example to All. That there is enough for everyone to eat
I enjoy all these channels. The Nugget recovery was cool, mostly to watch Matt get out of his element. I think it gave him a greater appreciation of winches. The Colorado off road recovery crew do some interesting stuff too. Different terrains, different methods.
Love to see Matt and BSF working as a team. Been watching BSF for years and just got turned onto Matt recently. What a fantastic, unstoppable team when it comes to Off Road Recovery. Keep it up guys and girls, look forward to seeing more of you guys together in the future!
Now about those Green Pea Snacks: “Are those any good? I think so.” Spoken like a true connoisseur. At first you’re not sure if you like them, but just give them time.
I love how people come to a RU-vid channel like this just to down vote like their opinion actually means anything. Figure out what hole you have inside you and fix it instead of acting out on a family friendly show. Keep the good works coming Matt and family! 👊😋
Matt is a very good facilitator in bringing people together! It's heartwarming to see how well these three recovery teams get together and work together. Not to mention hilariously entertaining! Thank you
(Wipes sweat off forehead) I thought I was experiencing a glitch in the matrix for a second, because I know I seen it before. Thanks for clearing it up that I did indeed see it.)
