Thanks for all the stuff you post. Im working on my 72 350 rally sport rebuilding it and ur channel has helped out a lot. The only thing I have issues with is finding parts for this car in texas that are cost effective and not completely destroyed. Thank you sir.
As a mechanic I've always been a little jealous of carpenters. We don't ever get to tell a customer, I'm gonna need to cut a hole in your quarter panel etc. to do this job, and you'll need to get a body man to patch up the hole. That's gotta be the easiest way to remove quarter glass LMAO
I wish the glass were better designed to go all the way down, cause as I'm sure you know, the window going down only a couple inches is kinda dumb looking. It looks like the mechanism is broken when they are open. Lol
@@Shop209 if I ever can get a Nova, I may just get that replacement channel then, since it's not like I'd be having kids or a dog in the back.lol. I definitely like what you're doing with this Nova though, because I thought there were huge differences between the two door and the four door. Since there isn't, it may be something I tackle one day.
@@Shop209 I noticed. I'm thinking of going with a decent four door, and new parts where possible, because then I don't have to worry as much about factory differences between individual vehicles. I remember you said that the "a" pillar inner panels are hard to come by, but do you know anyone who could maybe recreate them with whatever material they're made of? I don't want to say fiberglass, cause that's more of a last resort to me anyway.
A 4 door one looks the same, just longer, if somehow you are able to cut a chunk of it to size and weld it properly, it should be good to go. I am missing one in my 2 door project and have a nice 4 door one that i will try to make to fit.@@justincooper5189
