Theres nothing special you do to raise the windwo up before changing out the regulator right? Mine is getting stuck halfway and go up even if I pull on it.

My back window goes down but won't go up. I don't know if it's the motor or what. My neighbor and I use suction cups to get it up but two inches short of all the way. I've used tape to cover the hole. I'm thinking of selling it this spring and would like to have the window working. Do you think the motor is burned out? How can I check?
