That was tight. I’ve only been to maybe 2 dealers that have designated tow parking spots. The rest always a nightmare.

My long time work truck is a Miller/Vulcan/Holmes boom like that where you have to set it up at the right angle. Ive been operating it so long that I know where my 90 degree angle is just by using my rearview mirrors. So I feel you. Hopefully my new one will have the automatic stop. Great job as always!

Thanks, I tried to get used to it but I was always bouncing around from truck to truck. I would try memorizing it using the mirror and back up camera

Yes, that dealership can be super tight sometimes. Especially trying to take that turn at the back of their lot with the rollback. Hope all is well and you have a blessed weekend.

Yeah for sure. There was a ford escape I picked up that had damaged. The lady called the shop to ask about it and the pictures showed the damages before I picked it up and that protected the company from a damage claim.

Pretty good job I just wish you to put the safety chains on the back just like hooking a trailer to the back of your truck or a boat can you put safety chains on it in case it comes off the hitch

Yeah but some have magnetic sensors that stop the unfold at a 90° which is great.

I take pictures of that too. When I take them off and put them back on. I also let them know that the driveshaft was removed and they they need to address it.

@@TowMan127 If it’s a cash customer if the spot is reasonable to back in I’m leaving it out. I use the drop location and driveline as leverage for being driver or customer being a jerk. I towed a real jerk to jersey once and he was $25 dollars short my boss said let it go. I said nope he was an asshole so I’ll give him 15 minutes to come up with it and I’m out with his truck. My boss replied that’s your choice. 15 minutes was up told him to go open the gate. When got half way to the gate I started grabbing gears down the street towed his truck back to Long Island. Next day he sent his own to truck to get it and his boys tow truck got impounded by the village police for illegitimate plates and registration with no insurance with his truck on the hook.🤣🤣😂😂
