@@turobinson7414 hi, thank you for subscribing. 😊 People are still struggling aftermath but looks like situation is getting better. Enjoy my vlogs which I talk about chiang mai life and AP condo investments opportunities. See you on my next vlog.
Great report and Vlog Fran, I am happy to see the comment things are improving. I have been to Chiang Mai many times and I love it there so much. It made me sad to see the flood waters where I walked and drove in a car. I will be there again in January, my prayers to everyone for now.
@@marchiggins8976 thank you so much for your acknowledgement. Situation in Chiang Mai is much better now and will continue to be better. Look out for my next vlog. 😉
Fran, my son is arriving in Bankok on 10th, do you think he can fly on to chiang mai straight away and get to his accommodation at the Nakorn Bridge area ?
@@nurfarrina4037 hi. From what I understand the rain stops definitely by mid October. People say the water dries up pretty quickly when the rain stops. I hope within a week the roads will go back to normal.
I have been in CM for 14 years this is as they say a 100 year flood. Yes, the drainage system needs work but this flood is all about too much water coming down the river. Areas of the city flooded that no one has ever seen flooded. Typically the flooding has been localized due to a heavy rain storm the water gets high and after a few hours recedes and back to normal. There is no quick fix for this type of flood.
