Gang Expert Gabe Morales completes the history of Latino Gangs in Chi-Town as shown in his book "Chicago-Based Gangs: Beyond Folks and People" co-written with Ret. CPD Gang Det. Joe Sparks.
Good shit bro.Im not from Chicago,I’m from L.A. but I love learning about old school Chicago hoods.Chicago is one of the only other cities who have their own homegrown gangs who ain’t copied from other places.Much respect
Man. These docs bring nostalgia.. I'm 44 and grew up in different hoodz.. From LKz to Royalz.. All of them carry a different spirit n feel to the the hood they are in. It is a brotherhood but the darkside of its nature eventually tear down and crumble any good intentions..
The Bishops ain't got shit there no more! Gentrification done flipped Pilsen upside down just like it's done other hoods in the city. All you see there now are hipsters and yuppies and in the evening you ( may) see a left over gang member or 2, basically residue. And this is coming from a old head who remembers how fckd up it was back in the early 80's between 18th and Halsted all the way to Ashland. Bishops, Count's, Ambrose,Cullerton Deuces, Morgan Boys, etc. I got caught up on 18th and Racine with my hat banging to the right and them Bishops was gone kill my ass but God intervened and all they made me do was take my hat off and told me that if they saw me again they'd cut my heart out.
@@lalot809 Man sit yo goofy ass down somewhere. It ain't NOTHING like it use to be over there. Probably got a count of 10 or less of them boys and it's these new school millennial internet so called gangbangers who got no heart. It's over with @Lady T so go cry about it
The Undercover Kings came outta the Kings cuz the UnKnowns initials are UK hence Undercover Kings they were never a gang call Undercover Kings it was a lil joke
