Well I'm a against but me and my wife foster children and she works for CPS I think a week is good to get things adjusted for a new child but 2 weeks and 12 weeks this not good for the tax payer.
I know Chicago very well. It’s only a matter of time before “payed leave” abuse and scams are found by the papers and such. I’m fine with the policy but why not all employees then?

Glad parents will have their 12 weeks of peace with their new born in case the child gets killed by a stray (or intentional) bullet thanks to Chicago's gun violence. I am glad parents are getting the time off. I just hope this system is not abused and the children can stay safe from violence.
