Doesn’t hold a candle to aurelio’s, palermo’s or probably even sanfratello’s and Arranello’s. You probably just think it does cause it’s in a gentrified neighborhood
I’m from Chicago, and I’ve lived in Brooklyn for about 4 years now. So, you already know the obvious argument I’ve had with these folks over the years about pizza... ANYWAY... THIS is what a thin crust pizza should look like - the perfect ratio of crust to sauce to cheese to toppings. Period.
People (like you) are always talking about "the perfect ratio" of crust to sauce to cheese. But you never tell us exactly what that ratio is. Do u even know? Or are u just trying to sound like a food expert? Is it 3x more cheese than sauce and 2x more crust than cheese? I mean, exactly what IS this elusive ratio you keep talking about?
Brittney. Your Father has to be so proud of you. Please send good pizza to, Colorado. 30 years is to long. Thanks for making us miss it even more. Want a burrito ? Good but, not pizza !
Today: best thin crust, square-sliced pizza is at the Stained Glass Pub in Silver Spring, MD; many years ago, it was at Dino's in Suitland, MD, and Paisano's in Oxon Hill, MD.
@@YourFriendlyNeighborHoodRaTTT yes we have tried several times. Cassanos was just decent. The pizza Barely had ingredients on it and the sauce taste like ketchup.
In US almost all pizzerias put too much cheese on pizza. In original italian pizza there is small amount of mozzarella here and there, but in many times not at all.
Sandy Lee ..genius..in italy we don'0t use mozzarella in the pizza..we use fior di latte, and please don't compare our product whit your processed stuffs
@@3vilElvis Good for you, and your "authentic" pizza. Pizza was historically peasant food. And if you had reading comprehension, you'd know the cheese used isn't processed. It's whole made cheese lol. You also have to look at it in the cultural context, Italian immigrants came to America and sold pizzas only as a last resort. And no one wants to buy a slice that has thin crust, barely any sauce, a few pads of cheese and some margherita leaves. As nice as the actual original is, it's not what you'd want if you had a hard day at work.
