Thank you John. I don't have Chick-fil-a in my country, and it's been 5 years since I first tasted it in the US and it's been the thing I miss most from the US. I love it, it's just as good as I remembered.
I have never had Chick Fil A sauce before tonight. My grandson brought some over and I had to try it because I love to add new sauces to my recipe book. This one was so yummy I had to look it up. I found your video, made your sauce and it is better than the Chick Fil A version ( I had samples to test against) and that is before it has had a chance to marry the flavors. I used fresh ingredients and homemade mayonnaise, added 1 tbsp sugar to boost the sweetness (after my grandson said it wasn't as sweet as the "real thing") and 1/4 tsp liquid smoke because I like the smokey flavor. This has none of the added chemical preservatives or corn sweeteners that are in the Chick Fil A sauce and packs a punch in flavor. Thank you very much. This one goes in the book.
Who is here, because of the Chik-fil-et sauce shortage down south?! 😂🤣😂 The Lord is the sauce of my strength!!!! 🙏🏽🍗🐔 We will get through this American crisis!
thank you! I was trying to repeat the recipe with several RU-vid videos but this is the only one that has come out exactly the same!! 5 ⭐'s 👏🏼🙌🏼 Being from Mexico you can imagine how grateful I am, we don't have that restaurant here so it means a lot 💯 you have a new follower
I love seeing food videos, however sauce ones are just as wonderful. Nice to see how a sauce is made not just the meal. Very nice job sir, looks really good!
I made this sauce, & it is DELICIOUS. Just like Chick-fil-A. Where has this been all my life? I'm so glad I found you. Def. new sub. My family thanks you!
Yes I am going to make this recipe ASAP. Such a simple tasty recipe. Thanks for sharing brother. I will be uploading my beef short ribs video (this week) featuring YOUR seasoning. I will give you a shout out as always. Hope all is well with you brother. Let’s chat soon. Have a blessed week. Sis J
Chef John just wanted to say I love your videos . You have always taught me quite a lot on your channel and I’m very appreciative of that . Have a great day ! 🙂
It's Only Food w/Chef John Politte I love that you're replying to people's comments. I love that you did this video recipe because I love Chick-fil-A sauce, and I wanted to make some for myself at home so that I would have plenty without having to go there. You have a nice day and may God bless you.
Just made this after my store-bought one ran out. And wow, it tastes the same, and unlike the store-bought one, I get to taste the individual flavors of the ingredients. I had to put a little more salt and sugar to match it, but that's about it. One thing I noticed is that, unlike other fast food's special sauce, this one doesn't have ketchup in it, which imo is why this sauce is pretty unique.
The original recipe for the Chick-fi-A sauce was created in Fredericksburg, Virginia at Mr. Hugh Fleming's Chick-Fil-A store. People that live in Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania, Virginia are proud of this story. This is the story on their website: thechickenwire.chick-fil-a.com/food/serendipitous-sauce-the-chick-fil-a-sauce-story
Love the videos chef. I have one sause that I had in Iceland that I have never found. Have you ever heard of Icelandic “Kokteilsósa” , It is a creamy sause that is served with fries, fish, hot dogs. Just about anything.
@@ChefJohnPolitteItsOnlyFood Actually not like US Cocktail sauce at all but similar to but better than Arctic Circle or Freddies Fry Sauce from Utau, AZ area.
Decided to try this because I keep hearing about how good chick-fil-a sauce is but Ive never tried it (no chick-fil-a in my country rip). I cant say if its accurate or not but it sure is delicious!!! Its sweet and strangely addictive
I didnt have dijon mustard but even skipping over it it was delicious and tasted so close to the original so maybe i should go buy some dijon mustard soon
I made it at home and it came out super mustard-y for the first couple hours. I let it sit in the fridge overnight and now it’s a 1:1 replica of the original!
I'm confused I guess...Is this the Honey Roasted BBQ sauce or Chickfila sauce? Certainly looks to be the Honey Roasted bbq...I thought they were two different sauces...I was looking for the HRB, it just threw me off a bit...I will be trying this! We can never ask for enough of those packs! ....btw, why don't they but this in the little cups like all the other dipping sauces?
This is the original Chick-fil-a sauce. There is bbq sauce in the ingredients, that may be what threw you off. I am sure the Honey roasted bbq sauce has a different list of ingredients as well as a different flavor profile, I will check it out and most likely do a video on it. Great question! Thanks for watching! As for the packaging I agree with you on that one!
Thanks for watching...here it is: honey-84 grams mustard-42 grams BBQ sauce-84 grams lemon juice 21 grams Dijon mustard-21 grams mayonnaise-168 grams Hope this helps. Have a great day!
Try using smoked paprika. I would go with half a teaspoon and go from there, tasting along the way. Add a quarter teaspoon at a time til just right. The color may be off, but the flavor should be right.
I always wanted to try this sauce my family and co-worker talked about this sauce but I never want to support the company. I'm Christian and I believe strongly that putting kids in camps for being LGBTQIA+ is cruel (Witch Chick-fil-A donates too) and gos against loving your nabours so I don't eat there anymore. Thanks John!
It's just a sauce, the world is full of hate, as a Christian you know all too well, don't be manipulated by hate when it comes to enjoying food. Or stupidity and ignorance. Thanks for watching!
