We all love quick recipes with simple ingredients on hand, don't we? This recipe for chicken breast in tomato cream sauce is exactly like that. It's easy to make in one pan and will be the perfect meal for a family dinner on a busy night.
The tender pieces of chicken breast will be nicely browned in the pan, then smothered in an aromatic garlic tomato sauce with a little cream to give it creaminess. 📌 Ingredients
500 g chicken breast (boneless and skinless)
25 g butter with 82% fat
25 ml olive oil
300 ml tomato juice
1 medium onion
3 cloves of garlic
150 ml liquid cream (minimum 20% fat)
1 teaspoon dried oregano
salt and ground pepper (to taste)
chopped parsley (for serving)

🔪 Preparation
Cut the meat into 3 cm cubes and place in a bowl. Sprinkle salt and pepper and mix well to season all the pieces of meat.
Heat the butter and olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat and sear the meat on all sides for 10 minutes, then remove to a plate.
Meanwhile, dice the onion and mince the garlic. After removing the meat, sauté them in the pan for 2-3 minutes until the onion softens and becomes glassy.
Put the meat back in the pan, pour the tomato sauce. Now add the oregano, adjust the salt and pepper to taste and let the sauce simmer for 12 minutes.
Finally, pour the cream, mix and turn off the heat.
Serve the chicken with tomato sauce sprinkled with chopped parsley, along with a side of rice, cooked pasta or mashed potatoes.
