That’s me every morning..... before I’ve even had breakfast I’m already thinking what to cook. You are my “go to”. When I’m stuck I just look on your channel and pick something you’ve made. Thank God for your channel! 👍
Made this, used boneless skinless chicken thighs and added in green olives, nice contrast. Super easy and I loved it. This will be a regular addition to our meal planning.
Oh this looks so good! I often check to see what you have come up with after we get home from church for Sunday's dinner and then during the week I check the cookbook for weeknight inspiration! (Can't wait for your next cookbook!) Thank you and Blessings to you both!
One of my favorite Go-To recipes for bone-in chicken. Everyone likes it and the leftovers are amazing! It's a good dish to serve company, too....no fuss and a fancy looking dish, to boot. I love your channel and first cookbook, and am anticipating the second!
This looks like a "winner" for me. Never thought to try this in my IP, but time is of the essence for many of us, and I will definitely cook this tonight. Thanks for your video. Sorry Dude, my family is all Italian, both from the northern and southern regions, have prepared this dish countless times, and never once can I remember adding olives into it! However, when it's your kitchen, you can do whatever makes you happy.
I made this one, I added sweet potatoes and potatoes and oregano and it was full of flavor and one pot used. My pressure cooker is over the stove but yes in eight minutes it was deliciously done.
I really like the simplicity of this recipe. Some has too many ingredients so I tend not to make it but this one turned out great and I had all the ingredients on hand😁 It really is getting harder to think up what to make each day since the kids are now young adults and with more discerning taste. It was easier when they were younger. My other go-to video of yours is the Beef Rendang in the Instant Pot. That is always a success. Thank you!
Another wonderful recipe, Flo! Would you believe I chose to make chicken cacciatore just the other day, for the first time in a long time! Very similar, I did add olives since I had them. Turned out great! Keep up the great work, Flo and Dude!
Hi Flo and Dude, Just made this recipe and it was awesome! This cacciatore recipe will now be on our family’s IP recipe rotation. Thanks so much and keep the yumminess coming!
Hello new subscriber here from UK England really loving your channel really appreciated unfortunately i bought an instant pot but i return it now I'm thinking to buy again so that i can follow your cooking method once again thanks for sharing your cooking skills x
Don't need a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce. Just sprinkle a couple tablespoons of flour in when you are sauteeing the veg and this will automatically thicken all the liquid that is added and accumulated in the pot when cooking. Great additions to enhance the flavor...white or red wine (cup) and some lemon juice and zest of 1 or 2 lemons. Really makes it pop.
Looks absolutely tasty. Will for sure be on my table soon. And Dude, you did good, he ain't gonna bite the hand that feeds him. Lol, or cooks such good meals for him, that's better. Love, HUGS & Blessings, Marilyn.
Fantastic! I'll be making this very soon! Thank you for the recipe & cooking time. I didn't think your chicken would be thoroughly cooked in only 8 minutes...then I realized it was partially cooked while "browning". :-D
Hello Flo & Dude, yet another master piece, thanks Flo for sharing, I also loved the way Dude shows his appreciation for you Flo, that's how it should be done, thanks Dude. Have a wonderful week, take care and God bless you and your Family always. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🌸💞🌸👼🏻👼🏻
This sounds good. I always make this in the crockpot. My kids come home to a house that smells amazing and a dish that does too. I will try this in my Ninja Pressure cooker and I will let you know how it goes. Thanks!
Flo, you and Dude are so much fun to watch. I love your small family, I love the feelings you share for each other and the consideration you give your husband and children. I believe I heard the slight mention of a cookbook in your future and I can’t wait to get my own copy.. (Of course, it would make it even more special to have it autographed by you AND even Dude!) By the way, I am still struggling with getting my round roasts, etc., tender. Am I cooking these cuts too long or not long enough? For a 2 1/2 to 3 pound roast I usually pressure for an hour on normal pressure...should I change the pressure setting? Hope this is okay to ask these questions... In any case, I LOVE your videos!
If I do roast in the Instant Pot, I season and brown it, add a quartered onion, cook it for 40 min high pressure, natural pressure release 10 min and quick release the rest. Then I open the lid and add my veggies, cut large. Then I cook it on high pressure again for 10 min and quick release the pressure. I do normally have to cut the roast in about 3 chunks to brown each piece evenly. I hope that helps.
When I move with my husband, he use to call me after work and ask me “what are we eating?”. Then I start calling him at 4h30pm and ask him the same question. He never ask this question again. Friday, it’s our takeout evening for the family...a pause of cooking for me and a pause on dishwash for him. Then we always have the same question every Friday “what you want for diner?”.
If I used tomato puree instead of whole tomatoes would you suggest adding some additional water? if so, how much. The puree would also provide a thicker sauce. Not a fan of whole or diced tomatoes.
I like your style. U don't scream. I turn off the screamers. I don't tolerate it. I love Chinese Food and italian Food. Originally from NYC where i grew up. Every one ate everyone elses food no matter where their families originated. Thank
I made this. I am searching for a recipe the replicated my Italian grandma. This is close, but she did not use peppers, but she did use big chunks of celery, which this recipe did not have. I am missing a spice or a flavor. It maybe white wine.
Once a friend of mine decided to make a sunday dinner of that for a bunch of us. Little did we know he chose that time to try his hand at pickimg wild mushrooms for it in the backyard. 5 of us wound up in the emergency room and had to have an anitdote flown in from arizona cause our kidneys were shutting down. Needless to say this recipie is not one for me
