Been on keto for about six weeks and dropped around 20 pounds. I am slowly transitioning back to more of a reduced carb, versus extremely low carb, diet. Love your first cookbook and this second one seems to fit nicely into my plan. Definitely going to be ordering.

This recipe is right up my alley. I especially like the fact that there is no skin 'cause I don't like skin on chicken at the best of times, but especially in the IP. I was impressed, too, that you answered all my questions even before I asked them! LOL 😊😋😋

Will the new book be offered as spiral-bound? That is one of the most helpful parts of the first book. It only seems available in standard paperback.

You can take your book to a Staples or similar store, and they can make it into a spiral-bound book.

@@lollylollypop3626 And it will only cost about $5. I've seen after market sellers offering the first book for an additional $20 to get it spiral bound before shipping it. Plus, I don't think Jeffrey gets any royalties for after market sales.

Thanks, Jeff, for this gret dish. I am on a modified Keto diet, and this dish works for me. It is fairly low carb especially without pasta. And, btw, everyone, I have lost 25 lbs. on just a modified keto diet. Not fanatical about it. I still treat myself to small portions of non Keto dishes on occasion.

Make schmaltz with the chicken skin if you're keto. Excellent flavor enhancer to recipes. Jeffrey, you really should do a video showing how to render chicken skin and fat with a little onion to make some glorious golden schmaltz.

Made this tonight - it was excellent and right in line with WW points (I have lost 23 pounds since the beginning of February). I am really looking forward to your new cookbook. By the way, I have gotten pretty good at slimming down your not so calorie wise recipes so that I can use your recipes and not max out my WW points.

Veal is a lot leaner than chicken. Cooks a lot faster. Very easy to dry out

Break out roll of paper towels: Here's a handy trick for quickly/easily, CLEANLY removing chick-skin from chicken drumsticks -- You'll be using both hands; therefore, each hand gets its own two-sheets paper towel (full size): Using one hand (accompanied by its own paper towels) grab the end of the drumstick; then use your other hand, with its own paper towels, to grab the skin to rip away (downward) the chicken skin starting from the top of the drum stick. Rip that stuff away, and discard skin in garbage. Prepare your hands with more paper towels for repeated process. Me, I prepare the needed paper towel sheets, first, to prevent cross-contamination. (My Chef-trained friend shared this trick with me. Works every time. Otherwise, whatta slippery mess.) Why paper towels? Traction. P.S. I look forward to receiving JEFF'S NEW COOKBOOK! :-)

Personally I think you’re doing a disservice when you barely see or the chicken 🍗,a lot of the flavor develops with the fond.You should also put your dry herbs in with the oil so the flavors will bloom

How do you handle the residue that comes with quick release? My window is covered with a film from doing quick releases? Do you cover with a cloth? Or?

Sit your Instant pot on your stove top and turn on the range hood. Takes that steam right out. Don't leave the pot on the the stove, however.

Last I looked, the spiral bound was an after market option from a different seller who was charging $20 extra to do it. If you take a regular copy to an office supply store, like Office Depot/Max, Staples, or possibly even FEDEX, they do spiral binding for around $5. Jeffrey makes nothing from the sales of the after market books, other than what the after market seller paid when they bought the book.
