Adam, I made this earlier with a slight variation, wholegrain mustard , no white wine and added an onion. I also left in the bones as I thought "flavour!". What a great recipe, tastiest casserole that I've ever made. I think that it's your attention to detail that makes the difference: cook out the flour, don't burn the garlic etc. Brilliant channel, I've learnt a lot. You can teach an old dog (67) new tricks. Keep 'em coming!
Tolles Rezept mit leckeren Zutaten, sehr schön zubereitet. Das lohnt sich sicherlich mal zu kochen. Danke für das Rezept und fürs Teilen. Alles Gute für Sie 🙂🍀👍
Came to this site because Jamie says he uses RU-vid instead of TV. Not that I watch much cookery on TV. enjoyed your demo and have just put it in the oven. I hope my wife enjoys it. She's so critical!
I use this recipe for whenever I make a chicken casserole. It's simple, tasty and satisfying. I sometimes add swede if i have any and any other veg that is lying around. Great dish Adam.
Thank you. I have been using this particular recipe for a while now. I always forget what to do and even though there are millions of similar videos on youtube, I cannot cook until I've found your video. I will save it properly once and for all!
Just came across your page and video's 🙂 I made this minus the wine , tarragon and mustard and I also made the 2 ingredients bread rolls and it was a from favourite with the family and best of all ... I wasn't slaving away all day cooking 🙂 Thankyou So Much... Can we see more slow cooker recipes please and thankyou.
Adam just love the videos. You always lift my day and give me a good chuckle when you are cooking. Will be making this soon my husband and I love chicken thighs. Learned something which is to take out the bone off the chicken thigh. I always bought without bone at the grocery store but more expensive, now I feel more frugal to do it this way.
I love your cooking style and making things adaptable. ..latley ive been doing the stove top method of casserole, id put my chicken in the oven to cook than strip the meat of the bone add water too the dish to get the cicken flavor than to go in the pot . Love this recipe comforting. 🇦🇺👍💖😊
Lovely 👍🏻I’m doing this tomorrow with chicken breast 🤗I know what ya mean about having low times,This time last year I lost me beloved Mam 😔so I’m still cooking to try & take my mind off my sadness & grief,I have three lucky dogs that never complain about the home made dinners they get ,they deserve it for getting me through this year plus my oldest is nearly 16 yrs so it must be by never having dog food.comfort food is so relaxing 😎
My condolences Jane, I'm sure your mum was a lovely woman. You'll get through this though and some good food and the dogs will certainly help. All the best Jane Adam x
Excellent Adam, your commentary is crystal clear and method of cooking simple and yet so effective. No razz matazz and the ingredients accessible, very wholesome food which i prefer especially in Autumn/Winter,i will just use water as not a one for wine in any cooking.Researched many U.Tubes chefs and you are top drawer Adam.
Hi Adam, its Caulette from KS. Miss your face. Hope you are doing better. Life can be trying.Sometimes you're the windshield, and sometimes you're the bug. to see you back soon.
chicken casserole its one of my favorite dishes [adam garratt] i love the way you did yours its wonderfull keep its up my sincere greetings from NIGERIA this is chef pelumi.
Still got it now as well. I think I got it from Wilko years ago. (If you're not in the UK, wilko is a sort of hardware/ambient goods store. They sell homeware, tools, pet food, cookware, cleaning stuff etc.)
Lovely Adam Thanks. I like to put beans in a similar soup with chicken. At least 3 different types of beans. Not quite a Cassoulet and not quite a Minestrone. Plenty of fibre and tons of protein? Great vid.
This is seriously good. I had no mustard, so I did 1/2 tsp of chili powder + 1/2 tsp of Worchester sauce. Worked very well, the whole family enjoyed it!
Nice one Yuri! I've not made this for a while, and I've had a few comments recently ans with colder months ahead I'll be making some more. Hope you and the family are well my guy
Wonderful and so easy to make. Tarragon is strong so only a small amout as suggested by Adam is needed, otherwise it can overwhelm the dish. Thank you Adam, you are my go-to man for cooking tips. I share your videos with my sister!
Hi Adam. I just recently discovered your channel and I admire the simplicity and the heart on how you prepare your dishes. You deserve more views and subscribers. Anyway can I request for a lasagna recipe? Thanks!
My task next Saturday evening is now revealed! Great video, nicely concise. Could you add pot size, serving portions to the info list? Your Amazon link shows a 6L red Lodge pot but this recipe pot looks smaller? Maybe a bit of info if the recipe can freeze or keep. This stew would be nice at work the following week. Thanks for a great channel Adam.
If you dont know how to fix cooker take each wheel burner clean it with air that is your easy clean kev wembley London be safe my your god go with you the best kev
Morning Adam, hope you're well mate. Made your beef stew last week, bloody marvellous. What temperature do I have the oven for this chicken casserole? Can't seem to find it on the video or description. Or am I being thick?! Many thanks.
You could flour the chicken if you wanted. However it doesn't need it as I added the flour to the veg which acts as a thickener. Also in terms of salt and pepper, you could use that instead of the adobo which already has salt and pepper. Also the stock has salt in it
