This Chicken Changezi is one of those must make curries - its tomatoey, creamy, peppery from garam masala and coriander powder with a little bit of heat - It is one of my favourite curries.
Now normally the chicken would be marinated and deep fried we aint going to do that - we are bobbing the chicken in the oven for spectacular results.

Ingredients
1 kilo Chicken breast cubed
juice of half lemon
1 tsp salt
1 tsp garam masala
½ tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp kashmiri chili powder
4 tbsp yoghurt
garlic and ginger - optional
Oven cook 170c - 380f about 8-9 mins
3 tbsp Oil
2 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
½ tbsp mixed powder - see below
½ tbsp garam masala
2 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp kashmiri chili powder or chili powder of choice
7 tbsp onion paste - reverse base - see below
7 tbsp tomato puree watered 1 to 1
Evaporated milk 350 ml large can - I Use this instead of water and milk
1 tsp Kasoori methi
1 tsp chaat masala
splash of cream - optional
chopped coriander - optional
NOTE: Chaat Masala has a very distinctive taste, its salty, spicy. tangy, sour and a little sweet it certainly adds a fantastic flavour in this curry.
