That should be the last batch. The Svart Honas are cute. Oh that little silkie cock is getting his pretty golden mane. The hens look like my little Flask. She's turned out to have a huge personality for a tiny bird. Love that cream colored Easter Egger. I agree all flocks should have a Nugget and a Henrietta. I think I'll name my single chick that hatched Nugget. Been looking for a name. She's a Wheaten Ameraucana. That project just went so bad from the start. The ducks are cute. I'm guessing the females have the paler beaks. It's very obvious.

I like all the chickens you raise. I'd be interested to see the meat of the Svart Honas. I'm wondering if their egg shells are also black or darkly colored. I like the unique looking "Gold Nugget". BTW, will the chicken interbreed or do they stay within their own type chicken? I'm curious of what you could end up with since you raise so many different breeds. Thanks for the video. As I was watching your video, my youngest son immediately said, "that's what you need" and I said "what?" he responds "yardbird". Of course, he wouldn't be here to assist in the maintenance or anything else but he'd love the eggs. Well, of course, we all like the eggs. There's more to it than that. I like the ducks. Hi Don! Yes, they’ll all interbreed unless separated. The Svarts lay an off white egg, not black. That would be cool if they had black eggs, too. Your youngest is right - everyone needs chickens. 🤣. I tried hatching geese and then ordered Some (and cancelled when we got ducks.). The ducks behave just as I envisioned the geese would, except a little more low key. We love them!
