Tammy, seeing you from the back when you're standing at the sink, I can really tell you've lost weight. A cousin of mine who worked in a hospital told me to take 4,000mg of Vitamin C whenever I felt a sore throat coming on to keep from getting sick. It works! I follow her advice to this day. Hope it helps you. ~ Lisa
take mega doses of Vit D3 as well (all the time D3 and Vit C)... the things to take when you start getting sick is Echineca and Black elderberry... all of this is available on Amazon. I know this is an older vid, however, this comment may help others and might get back to you (Tammy) as well. xx
Tammy I am 71 yrs old and just lost my identical twin sister 6 months ago. I miss her terribly but when I came across your show I was comforted by the way you act and talk. You remind me so much of her in so many ways. I absolutely love your show and wait for each new recipe. May the Lord bless you and Chris always. Thank you for the joy you have brought in my life!
I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your sister, but so delighted to hear we have been a comfort for you. I hope we continue to help as you go through the grieving process.
Gosh this sounds good! My mm used to put water chestnuts or pecans in her dressing. I love that little crunch! God bless ! I am praying that you get to feeling better and that you and Chris don’t get the COVID!
1/2 tsp.of salt in 6 oz. Of warm water to gargle and is cheap and still the best thing for sore throats....its been my go to for my sinus problems. I just sniff it up and it really helps. Keep track of your temperature and I will say a special prayer for you. Luv ya girl and that chicken did look scrumptous...hugs and prayers
This sounds like just the ticket. I have been wanting a really good chicken salad and I love all of the ingredients! Thank you for sharing this recipe. Prayers for a speedy recovery for your household.
That big chicken salad looks so delicious I never thought of putting a can of cream of chicken soup in it that’s amazing great idea can’t wait to try it. Hope you’re resting well and feeling better soon and also Chris of course love ya 💕
I have never had a hot chicken salad sandwich and your recipe looks delicious. I'm gonna make this for dinner with some chip's, thank you Tammy.👍 We have you in our thoughts and prayers, much love. ❤
Love this recipe I do mine a little bit different I leave out the crushed-up crackers lemon water chestnuts and Worcestershire sauce. Or also like it cold and generally will do what's left over whenever we baked the chicken. And I added diced onion but it's amazing anyway! I might just try it your way sounds delicious
You remind me so much of my Auntie Vickey, I miss her so much and I catch my self just watching you and wanting to hug her... she taught me how to bake and we made a heck of a carrot cake ,lord help I lost her in 2015 then Grandma 2016, Dad 2017, Pappy 2018, Mother 2019, uncle 2020, uncle 2021 and between those was a few cousins and my old dog !!! I went from those big fun family dinners to alone 😔 and it sucks so bad
God love and Bless you!❤ Can't have you getting sick... what would we do without our yummy recipes that we look forward to everyday.. thach you for sharing❤🙏
Good morning Ms Tammy and Mr. Chris 😊🌞 l am so excited! I made (3/4/22) your Chicken & Dumplings. I made the dumplings like you and rolled out the dough and used a pizza cutter. By following your recipe, it was SOOOOO DELICIOUS!! Since I boiled a whole chicken, I have enough chicken left over to make your “baked chicken salad” today 3/5/22 for lunch. Can’t wait to try the chicken salad because I love chicken salad and the idea of it being baked, it’s gotta be good 👍🏼 Ms Tammy you are such an AWESOME cook. You make every recipe from your heart. It is a pleasure watching you cook. You (and Mr Chris too) have a wonderful way of teaching your viewers to cook “like your mama did” ❤️
I hope you and Chris feel better soon. The salad looks so yummy. I've been meaning to tell you that every time I watch your videos I feel like I am spending time with my aunt who just happens to have the same name as you. Hope you and family are staying safe.
Hi Tammy!!! I liked watching you make this Chicken Salad. I shall give this a try one day. Never had baked 🐔 chicken salad like that. Looks and sounds delish !!! Feel better. Nice video!!!
I was watching our local news while I was watching your video. They were interviewing a researcher from a company in the Research Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill in NC) They are very close to a new treatment for covid that they believe will cut hospitalizations by 80% and deaths by 78%. They have more testing to do and get approval from FDA but are very excited about it. Let's pray that it works.
Zicam, tonic water to boost the zinc into your system, and emergency packets - if you don't have the zinc tablet's, vitamin C, & Quercetin. The Zicam and tonic water ( 1 liter bottle ) works every time. Your Chicken Salad looks Delish!
Hey Tammy, I love chicken salad I don't make it often enough. I don't think I've ever heard of hot salad. I like green onion also . I can eat one all by it's self with a meal. You not feelin well, DON"T YOU GET COVID. GOD love you, HUGS........
That looks so good I’m going to make it myself it looks yummy thanks for always sharing your recipes Tammy I hope you and Chris are feeling better I’ll be praying for you and Chris🙏🙏❤️❤️
That chicken sandwich looks delish, going to make it this week. Feel better soon. I have been fighting not getting sick with Airborn in the morning and Elderberry in the evening so far so good. My hubby had a cold and I was feeling it coming on with a scratchy throat.
Hi Tammy, love Egg Salad and this is a new way too make it. I will try it. For soar throat i just use warm salt water, Gargle with it. Be careful not too swallow any of it. Do this 3 times a day. Next day you will be better and cut down too two times and you should be better. Get feeling better soon Tammy. God Bless.
Just found you and watched the fish & grits recipe. Chris can surely cook! I am not familiar with the concept of a man who knows his way around the kitchen. 😃 I’m enjoying this video too..brings back memories..one of my favorite church casseroles or for entertaining was a hot chicken salad pie. I served it for a bridesmaids luncheon baked in a pie shell with crushed potato chips & grated cheese mixture on top. I didn’t use the soup - just good Mayo and lemon juice to brighten it up. I used pecans but sometimes used almonds when I was out of pecans. You can’t go wrong with a hot chicken salad! Hope you’re feeling better! Make your Dad get his shots!
Tammy, your just an old barefoot country girl like me. I love your jewelry! The hot chicken salad is much better than cold. This made me want to go make some hot chicken salad. Take care of your self. I would tell you to gargle warm salt water. I have said a prayer for you already, God Bless you 🙏❤🙌.
Hey it’s great to be barefoot! I’m barefoot all the time in my house. I actually had a podiatrist tell me that we were meant to be barefoot; that’s why we have foot problems and shoe issues. You’re in your home. It’s your castle you do what you want in it! Feel better!❤️❤️
I pray you are not sick. My just turned 60 cousin died this morning and his dad, my only surviving uncle is down the hall on a ventilator. Cousin's wife's mother and brother died of covid about two months ago. I don't want anyone else to get it. AND I love this recipe.
I'm so sorry for the loss of so many family members honey. I'll pray for you and yours. I lost my dad and younger sister in January to covid and my daughter almost didn't make it but was finally released on Labor Day to go home Praise my Heavenly Father! Everyone please take care and get vaccinated!!!
I just watched a similar recipe from Paula Deen. Her recipe even used the water chestnuts. Oddly, before today I had never heard of HOT chicken salad. Chicken salad of course but not baked with a crumb topping & served hot.
Good Morning Tammy I completely understand going barefoot I hate having any thing on my feet. Watching you cut that sandwich all I could think of was adding some tomatoes even with it being hot. Hope you are feeling better
I will pray for you and Chris that it's not covid or anything serious. I just recovered from that ol' nasty covid (my whole family passed it around right here in the house, so I got it last and was in quarantine for 5 weeks. No sore throat or anything other than a low grade fever, but wow, very tired and weak. Please take care of yourself!
The old stand-by---gargle with warm, salt water. But if throat is soar farther down the esophagus (I had scope down throat and really irritated it)--pharmacist told me to use equal parts of Maalox and Benedryl. Gargle and swallow the last gargle. Benedryl deadens the pain and Maalox makes it cling to the throat. It worked great. Hope you feel better soon.
Looks so delicious. You always make the best food Tammy. I hope you feel better real soon. Take good care of yourself, we can wait on the videos! Love you!
Tammy, The hot chicken salad looks absolutely delicious! I will definitely make it. Hope you're feeling better soon. I will be praying for you. Blessings!
I've never had hot chicken salad but it looked good. Hope you feel better real soon. When I start feeling any kind of sickness, I eat lots of chicken noodle soup. It usually helps, especially if I start on it early. I'm not crazy about it, but I still do it. Hopefully it's just the weather or allergies and will pass. We just can't have our favorite cook being sick 🙏
Tammy & Chris I'm happy you shared your tour . I didn't know that existed in Georgia. Thank you so much. I'm having your old fashioned oatmeal cake with my supper right now. Yummy. Donna from Arkansas . Love those dolphins
Never had hot chicken salad...looks so yummy like everything you make!❤ Love being on the water...so peaceful...love to fish too❤🙏🕊 *my precious dog ate my onions and garlic🙄😂 Don't forget you D, C and Zinc...so important🛐❤
I make a Baked Chicken Salad that you make Just like you would make a regular chicken salad with diced celery, onion, mayo, chicken, nuts if you want. It does not call for the creamed soup but you do stir in shredded cheddar cheese. When you bake it you top it with crushed potato chips. It was a recipe from the late 60s/early 70s. I got it from a church cookbook. It was often served at Bridal and baby showers. It is very good. I have never eaten it on bread. We just eat it as a casserole.
I’m several days late catching up on videos and just realized you were sick with C during this filming, but was not aware. Praying for you to quickly heal and recover. Enjoyed watching Chris cooking your Italian chicken and Angel hair pass, today.
You're the best. I just love your videos and just had to tell you that you look so BEAUTIFUL today with your jewelry and all girl. And of course, as always, the food looks DELICIOUS. Hugs to you and your sweet husband🙂🌺
The chicken casserole sandwich looked so yummy 😋. I’ve never heard of it made this way. Thank you for sharing your wonderful recipe. God bless your sweet and my prayers are with you both that you will feel better 🙏❤️🩹🙏………🌸😁🌸
Praying for you that God keeps you and covers you by the blood of Jesus thanks for sharing this wonderful recipes and let you know that prayers are going up for you and for Chris
