Please stop crying about how i pronounce his name i know how it’s pronounced it’s just a habit i have tryna call me a fake Fan is crazy when i been doing chiefs content forever
You are saying it correctly. Even Travis said they just stopped correcting everybody, but it's pronounced Kels. If you notice Coach Reid always says it correctly as well. It's not just him being casual.
Papa Kelce name is pronounced "Kels". Papa Kelce said people he worked with at the steel mill started calling him Kel-ce and he just never corrected them. So, the boys grew up with everyone calling them "Kel-ce". Just one of those ways names get changed around. I have relatives that carry my great grandfather's name and they spell & pronounce it 3-4 different ways. Reunions can be hilarious. 😂
Fer shur! Hes a QB turned tight end. Just like Kelce was. If this young guy catches on, this TE room might be the best in NFL. The Chiefs will def be unstoppable 🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪😱😱😱
But I just watched a video that made the statement that the Kansas City Chiefs didn’t make enough positive changes to improve that much over last year! I just don’t understand what these schmohawks are looking at!! 14-3 or 15-2
That was the same kind of bonus that Mahomes had of being mentored by Alex Smith imeduring he first year in the league. Jared Wiley is going to have that same type of esperience of learning from one of the best, Travis Kelce. He sounds like a perfect fit for our team and I'm guessing Jared will get a chance to see some playing time in the upcoming 2024 season. GO CHIEFS!!
Born raised in KC Mo. No Bigger Chiefs Fan. Child attended Municipal Stadium. Chiefs History New Tight end a Hernadez situation aka Patriots. Example Rashee Rice?
If they say "KELSS" when they inductd him into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, then maybe the rest of us will change. But even Mitch Holtus, the voice of the Kansas City Chiefs and the play-by-play voice on their radio network, says "KEL-see," just like everyone else here in Kansas City does. No one on any of the local TV stations in Kansas City call him "KELSS." And no one on any of the TV networks that cover the NFL calls him anything other than "KEL-see." So I get it -- you just like to be different. So does the guy who likes to fart at the dinner table. Doesn't mean anyone wants to be around him.
Instead of getting annoyed when people call you while recording. Maybe turn your phone on silent and turn off notifications so it doesn't distract you. Your video was good. I'm a die hard Chiefs fan and I watch a lot of different Chiefs channels. These videos are high quality that you produce.
You need to look it up homes. Kelce did an interview where he said it's always been said "Kels". His dad, grandad, and so on all had that pronunciation. They just got tired of correcting everybody. Coach Reid always says it that, and it's not because it's a nickname thing.
Folks always knock Kelce as a "receiving tight end" and give him no credit for blocking like they do with Kittle and Gronk. That doesn't account for the style of offense the other two played: those are/were run-first teams, while Kelce plays in a pass-oriented offense. On those rare occasions he is called on to block, he does just fine. So, all-in-all, buying into that narrative is a very shallow analysis of what TK is as a tight end.
Trav and Jason talked about it on New Heigjts. It’s supposed to be “Kelse” like he pronounces it in the video, but people used to call Big Ed “Kelsee,” and he just stopped correcting them.
