My domestic helper is from Phillippines and I made this for her birthday today. Turned out great except I couldn't find Filipino cheese so I just used cheddar. Still good. Thanks so much for the recipe and video. Easy to follow. (p.s. I pushed the cornstarch mixture through a strainer to get rid of lumps and cooled it with a cling wrap on its surface like custard/curd so it doesn't get lumpy!)

Unless they also add food color to enhance the color to make it more appealing.
@@PinoyCookingRecipesbyJanette I tried this recipe last week order po ,Tru orange ang gamit ko seems okay naman po ,,pag fresh orange juice medyo mahal at konti Lang ang tubo
I haven't tried yan kasi ang nagpapalasa. I adopted this recipe kasi sa mamon recipe ko. You can try adding just water if you like. Meron din ako reciupe ng Taisan, walang orange juice yun, you may want to try it instead then use the yema filling here.
I adopted the recipe from custard flan (chiffon cake/mamon) and used 1/2 tsp there but here on this video I used 1 tsp and it still okay. So I think it wouldn't make a big difference if u use 1/2 or 1 tsp. Thanks!
My slight difference po measurement. And it came out so good everyone was impressed! Eto naman next bake ko. All the recipes I tried from you all full proof and super yummy! Thank you.
@@kharenp.779 I see. Kasi sometimes I make some modifications depending sa recipe but you can use them interchangeably. Happy to know that you are enjoying my recipes here. Take care.
