All right. My name is Chih Chang. I'm a physician specializing in endocrinology. It's a field of medicine that involves taking care of diabetes and thyroid, anything that's involved with hormones. The common case I see in the clinic is diabetes. Diabetes is a chronic condition that involves meticulous care with their blood sugar also involves with medication prescriptions and education on nutrition and exercise.
I was born overseas. I grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, went to the University of Louisville Med School and joined Army while I was in medical school. Fulfilled my service over eight years and then came back home. I was a medical officer and serving many different posts. The last duty station I was at was Fort Leonard Wood. While I was in the Army, I enjoyed the camaraderie I had with my colleagues, people who are from all over the country. Outside of work I enjoy practicing Jiu-Jitsu. That's my passion for the last 10 years or so. It allows me to stay fit, focused, and I enjoy the thinking part.
