If you need more info on China background and read German, try to get the Pegasus Presse supplement, Cthulhu China: Cthulhu im Reich der Mitte. If you need China Background and read french, try to get the original French campaign Les 5 Supplices, which probably will get harder to put your hand on, considering that the publishing house Sans Détour has lost all publishing. Most of the campaign is in China.

I just got this last week and 5:00 you bring up one of the reasons I wanted to dabble in this campaign for my group. I am a practicing Buddhist of the Mahayana side. I was really impressed at all of the great respectful teaching in the intro to the campaign. Its not the typical US/NE or European model and feels fresh and new to most CoC players. Thanks for the overview. We will be starting it in about 1 month

Thank you VERY much for the in-depth overview of the story. I've tried for months to learn what the actual story entails but somehow most people seem to think that reviews and overviews shouldn't contain spoilers. Spoilers are fine in vidoes such as these; I'm trying to learn the fucking adventure and that's hard when I'm not being told anything. I'm currently running Masks and I'm super curious about The Children of Fear. I hope to get a chance to run it, and I'll probably get the book asap. How long do you reckon playing the campaign might take using the Classic rules?

I definitely understand shipping delays but the crazy thing is last month when I ordered something from overseas it got here really fast but recently ordered something from the same company and it still hasn't even shown that it has even shipped it's been over two weeks since I ordered it. I also had a preorder for something and they were supposed to deliver on the 4th but the company told me now they have to wait for more stock to arrive at their warehouse. We all really love games so we remain patient and deal with these issues.

Stargate SG! FTW! :D I think if I were to play that campaign, I would either make it so all the important characters know English (ala old action-adventure movies) or the investigators stumble across asia with sign language :D

I have started laying the ground work for this already. One of my players is an Actor, and so I've justified some ret-conned language skills for them that fits their backstory. Other players have been very enthusiastic about their players studying Mandarin in advance.

Did you know that there is a compelling psychological argument that nit-picked spelling/grammar correction is a manifestation of deliberate, but unconscious, economic class bullying? When I learned that I stopped correcting people over details that don't alter meaning.

Did you realize that influencers who post with inaccurate information, and vindictive responses lose potential Followers ? It appears to be a 60-second fix. If you cannot even read constructive criticism without lashing out, perhaps counseling would help. (I actually liked your review.)

LOL, Joe. Seriously, man. We're doing this for fun in our spare time outside of our full-time jobs. We aren't "influencers," which is a disgusting term. The people that I hang with in this community have a really great time pointing out the lack of perspective of people who comment on RU-vid videos with snarky nitpicks that are completely oblivious to their tone. Nobody is forcing you to watch. Your comment is not as constructive as you think it is. It isn't the criticism that is bothersome. I have people level healthy criticism that I listen to all the time. They do it in productive ways. If you had led with "Liked the video," and then gave your criticism, maybe I'd take it more seriously. Tact, man. Tact.
