In this movie, because they're very limited and they need to focus a lot to use it. Telekinesis is deadly when you don't need to wave your hands and see the objects to move them.

@@Mesozoic_Ángel They don't need to wave their hands around and I'd think you'd need to know where the object is to move it. Telekinesis is not a second pair of eyes. Plus, they're not properly trained. They're not low level threats because they're not powerful. They're low level threats because they aren't trained. If they were trained, they would be as dangerous as the Reds or more dangerous than the Reds. No one knows how their powers work so they have to figure it out for themselves.

That makes sense they were all put into camps and the only training they got was being forced to move the same things everyday by the guards they weren’t allowed to do anything else even the greens had the potential to learn how to make a deadly weapon or even cure a disease they just weren’t allowed to

Spoilers (In the books) It’s mostly because the others are more powerful and lack control. The greens are relatively weak. The blues abilities come to them easily Liam describes it as just focusing on an object and making it go where they want it to. But it also takes a lot of concentration to move anything heavier than a person. Yellows are more dangerous for instance Zu accidentally killed someone in the first book while (or right after) the white noise was on so she was in a weaker state. The oranges can influence people and it’s hard for them to control it. Ruby talks about how hard it is for her to control. In the last book she controls a room full of people. Oranges can also make almost anyone do anything which includes murder, or unaliving themselves (as we saw in the video). And reds are the most powerful. In the second book Mason (also known as twitch) is the major obstacle everyone has to overcome in Nashville leaving many with massive burn scars. In the third book when someone tries to attack Liam, Cole clenches his fist and lights a helicopter on fire. It’s not that their weak it’s just that the others are uncontrollable and they aren’t.
