Jim what a wonderful video I loved the Chili Cheesedog Breakfast I must make that it looked delicious and what a fabulous story about your father being in the military, wonderful stuff thank you BOTH for your service.
Great story. Love it so much. I watched so many of your video’s and you and Freda always put a smile on my face. You always have a way of making my day. Thank you sir. And by the way I Lost my husband just a little over 3 year’s ago. Miss him very much. You both always make my days brighter.
Yummy one! I always like My Hot Dog Chili without Beans, but regular Chili loaded with them. Interesting about Your Father! I had a great Uncle that was in WW1. When I was a kid. He was in His 80s. He owned a little Country Store I was in a couple times, He talked about being gassed in the War.
Thanks for another great story from your life experiences. You met John Wayne and there is a photo of Freda with Christopher Reeve; but her HERO is YOU. Breakfast looks delicious. Story/Breakfast made my day. Blessings to you both.
Freda received a very nice card today which was signed "Clara from many miles away". She loved it and I was wondering if it was from you. If it was, my made her very happy for a day.
@@claramiller2011 YES! The beautiful flower arrangement also came but I just hadn't connected the two. Thank you so much, you also brightened Freda's day.
Glad Freda got her flowers. Card should have come with them and read "Friends across the miles". Just thankful she received them. Was supposed to have my return address and number on them. The florist got permission from the Villa to use their phone number as a contact should it be needed. Her happiness makes us all happy. Have a blessed day.
Your breakfast looks so good Mr Foreman! You never fail to make me hungry, no matter what you cook. It just makes my day every time I see that you've posted a new video. I could listen to your stories all day. I hope Freda is doing ok. I think of you two often, and always wish you both well 🤗
Good breakfast, better story. I like the cheap cooks you do when you say how much everything costs. Nothing like a 2 dollar meal that tastes like a million bucks!
Oh I wouldn't care if you greeted us with just a cup of coffee and a story. I look forward to your videos 😁❤ but that chili cheese dog breakfast plate looks so good! I'm gonna save this video so I can make this too. Thanks! 😎
Thanks for the recipe and the family story even more. It's wonderful for family stories to be shared for future generations. Your story of parents passing away when you were young and being only child is like me. I was 24 right by Christmas when my Dad died, a few years after my Mom died.
This looks nice, but as a vegetarian I’d substitute the chilli for a homemade veggie version, the sausages would be Linda McCartney’s. But all this is too much for breakfast, this would be an evening meal for me! Greetings again from Essex, UK. 🇬🇧
Anytime you can’t think of something to cook, just tell us good story! As best I know, Jack in the Box is the only fast food that serves their full menu all day including breakfast. I’ve ordered breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast many times.
The new Whataburger (now the fastest growing fast food place in the world) will serve you anything on the menu any time you want it but there might be a surcharge added for "special preparation". You might also have to wait a few minutes for them to make something like crisp bacon or biscuits and gravy.
I'm not a fan of hot dogs, so probably won't try the chili dog breakfast, but I have a granddaughter that will eat pretty much anything for breakfast, so I'm going to have her watch this video. Great story. I knew your dad was in the army, but hadn't stop to think that it would have been WW-I. Your dad really go the raw end of the deal in the Army. Too bad for him and the Army. He obviously knew more about horses than just about anyone. The Army missed out on having an excellent horse wrangler.
Every time I see a bag of Fritos in the store I think of your breakfasts! Think I will get a bag this week you gotta live every once in a while! Yum and tie mr foreman!
That was one of the many benefits of working at the Black Forest Gliderport. It drew soaring pilots from all over the world to come fly there. They had a nice clubhouse with kitchen, an Army-style bunk room and a four unit motel as well as space for parking RVs. It was located at the end of the highway about six miles from both Colorado Springs and the Air Force Academy. It was the sort of place where people could enjoy themselves without having to put up with the general public. During my ten years there, in addition to Christopher Reeve and John Wayne, we had many people come over from the Academy... like Buzz Alden, Neil Armstrong and others. It wasn't unusual to hear the familiar voice of John Denver call in, Cessna Seven JD downwind landing north, Black Forest. (N7JD was the registration of his Cessna 180) He also had a Lear jet and an antique 1931 Waco. He usually spent the night at our house.
