My personal opinion. PLEASE dont get angry at this, but I listened to this and Nothing Remains and just based on those two songs I find this band to be pretty basic. Do they have anything with more changes in it? Some different vocals? Better drum patterns? More intricate melodies? Maybe some breakdowns? I can hear some potential for greatness and definate talent here so I don't wanna write them off as being average screamo metal core shit yet. Help a brother out and recommend some better shit if they've made it please.
@@fatshady5714 You should listen to the entire album, its called the impossibility of reason, its a great album and so is the album nothing remains is on, its a real shame they're not making music these days
@@MrSteve8546 I will definitely do that! Thank you very much for the suggestion! And since you've suggested something to me I gotta toss in Trivium's last three albums. I've become a HUGE Trivium fan because of those albums. They're ALL masterpieces! They're called The Sin And The Sentence, What The Dead Men Say and In The Court Of The Dragon.
@@fatshady5714 thanks, I used to listen to trivium, I got a 2006 tour poster still on my wall, I haven't listened to their stuff in years, I'll give em a listen though, thanks
@@MrSteve8546 What's interesting is that I've jammed the majority of the shit from start to now and their sound has definitely changed for the better in my opinion. Think Vengance Falls type of vocals (if you've heard that one it's damn good too) only the last three are even better because Trivium has the best drummer now that they've ever had. That's saying a helluva lot, I know, because Trivium has never had a slouch behind the kit but Alex Bent is next fuckin' level bro! Not to mention Matt Heafy stuck with his cleaner vocals like he did on Vengance Falls. It's just my preference and please don't think that their newer shit doesn't have plenty of screams because it absolutely does, it's just not constant like a lot of their older shit.
@Noxid666 We didn't remove the curses. This is the broadcast version. Not sure if we have the explicit version, but in order to get this on TV back in the day we had to bleep the curses.
Hell yeah. I remember the first time I saw or heard this band I think they were opening for Slipknot at Soma. I remember when they first came out not a lot of people knew but by the time they started playing this song everybody was loving them and when they hit the chorus the place just went crazy. Such a sic show!!!
I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. It was a Music as a Weapon with Disturbed and Killswitch Engage. When he screamed I HATE EVERYONE my brother started jumping up and down, making a heart with his hands, and shouted BUT I LOVE YOOOUUUUU!!!!
Listen to Chimaira so much, that I tend to skip over this song when it comes on. Not that I don't like the song, I've heard it alot, but it's never the same without the video for some reason.
When it's been 12 years since you and a couple idiot friends ran up the middle of the wall of death.. And you still hear about it in third person accounts.. Also develop random aches and shit upon hearing this song.. Bristow VA 08..
20 years later I still fucking love this song. Happy 20 Years (2023-2003=20). Lastly I fucking hate today’s generation and today’s society. Wanna go back in time.
Remember playing this at my job when it came out back in the day . The dirty looks that i would get .partly because they were all techno and pop bullshit fans . Zero fucks given then .Zero given now . Nothing changed but the age . Real music will always stand the test of time .
@ChickenJoe-tq6xd Me too. I feel like I took it for granted. Hanging out with friends & backyard wrestling was so much fun. We used to record our shows & then afterward we would all watch the tape. I loved it when we did promos before the show. I remember one when everyone was out to get me cause I was being a dick & roasting them on the mic Lmao In 2014 we actually got a real wrestling ring & my friend put it up in his yard. At the time I haven't wrestled for 7-8 years & was sick. It's on RU-vid. J2C Vs Rratt. I ended up doing the Canadian Destroyer Lol It was my first time ever trying it inside a ring & it was awesome
@@justincombs7440 haha that’s hilarious, every kid in my neighborhood would come to do it and we also played hide and seek and so many fun games, it’s sad tho cuz nowadays I rarely see kids outside playing and it seems that’s because of phones/iPads taking over. I’m so glad I was part of the last generation of kids who played outside before technology took over everything. Yea we had cam recorders and stuff but no iphones/ipads and stuff that took over our life
