I hate that so many chimera players fumble on sequencing of their cards that can easily play around many types of typical interruptions

Mirror mage means you save a lot more resources to get toadally awesome at the cost of a brick. Though I don’t know how spright can compete when the format has so much removal these days. It plays through hand traps well but the follow up is very lacking without spright elf.

The best way to solve the follow up issue is to just abandon adding an interruption spright s/t off Jet and just adding starter. Then either set it for follow up or to summon a negate or keep it in hand for extra safety

the followup is that he's supposed to Sp banish the ice jade spell from his own field, then when toad detaches the ice jade monster it grabs it back from banished and toad adds back beaver so you have 2+ cards of followup there

Its all about the deck build. I make top 4 at my locals quite frequently. Just gotta play the right handtraps....also iblee lock 😝

@@MANCO92687 I appreciate that you can see more success with better builds than not. The sad reality as a Spright enjoyer myself is the deck hasn’t seen any regional or YCS tops in quite some time and the power level only keeps going up for other decks.

Playing 2 freezing chains is better then playing 1, since it gives more follow up which spright lacks

funny thing is if you sp banish the freezing on your turn you can add it back later.

Toad is all the followup you generally need. Get back Beaver is a lot on its own. But yeah, no Elf is rough. I don't think I'd run another brick just for that situational revive
