Gay homosexuals Nick and Joseph spoil Chimp Crazy - a 2024 American documentary series directed and produced by Eric Goode.
Premise: Tonia Haddix, an animal broker, spends her days taking care of a chimpanzee, Tonka. Her love for Tonka spins into a game with authorities and an animal rights group, PETA. The series additionally explores other owners of nonhuman primates and their experiences.

I feel bad for the chimps. This reminded me of when I watched the documentary “Blackfish” with orcas in captivity and their instructors saying they have “a special bond” with them. Oh that was so upsetting to watch!

I very much enjoy you guys slightly facing one another and being able to carry on a conversation together and with the camera/audience vs faced only at us. Looks very natural.

Being able to “own” a chimp is insane. (Same for tigers.) They are so dangerous, especially when they’re stressed out from captivity. Also it feels weird to keep something like an ape as a “pet” when you are also an ape too.

Project Nim was an excellent documentary back in 2011 about a chimp that was raised like a child and the repercussions of that. I love primates and hate the mistreatment of them or any animal for that matter. It's so hard to watch

Love the shade at the British origin actor who bonded and cared about another sentient creature but not enough to check in about its life for a quarter of a century. ✊🏽 As for the image in the background, given the title, it suggests a story much more sinister (one thinks of Peter Høeg’s THE WOMAN AND THE APE, and Marian Engel’s BEAR). 🫥 Monkey love and monkey kissing? Lactating across the species barrier?! Erm . . . this is why we have zoonotic outbreaks. Not blending actresses and then putting them in the air fryer . . . 💀⚰️🪦 Many of us living in other countries often wake up stunned at events in the places where we live, but then a news headline about the US pops up, and we think, “Time to hold the Americans’ beer . . . again.’ 👽🍽️🙀
