The show was very odd especially how the show portrayed Lyle and Erik as this awkward brotherly relationship that seemed like incest. A lot of this show was made up by Ryan Murphy rather than based on real facts even the menendez brothers themselves stated how false this series turned out to be.

It’s unfortunate Ryan Murphy didn’t do great portrayal of Erik and Lyle Mendez. Especially since I think the Jefferey dahmer series was pretty good

I hate that this version doesn’t cover the rape/molestation by both of their parents since they were young children…but the law & order version did a good job telling a more dynamic truthful stories

I thought Dahmer was pretty well done with directors like Gregg Araki coming and doing interesting things visually, and the storytelling being pretty compelling (though I read it was really inaccurate), but this seems more like it's bordering fan fiction. I wish Ryan would go back and produce another series like Pose which I really loved, or another grounded AHS season, instead of trying to conjure up a 10 episode series about killers who's lives aren't known...

I enjoyed the series, but I can see how disrespectful this series could be perceived. But I was entertained by how crazy and dynamic the show is. I preferred this series to the Jeffrey Dahmer one.

When Chloe Sevigny ripped off that hair implant, I immediately stopped watching. Y’all were right on target, when y’all stated what was this supposed to make us feel. Ryan Murphy needs to get the T Perry treatment for making this series. We didn’t ask nor did we need this. Again only watched the first episode, but the review that y’all are giving sounds better than what may have actually been written.

When it comes to Ryan Murphy - he has a habit of starting off strong then going completely off of the rails. He does this EVERY season of American Horror Story. He has good ideas but it’s like he can’t help but to sensationalize any story he’s trying to tell.
