Why is it cheap but high quality? because the market there is insanely competitive. China has become the powerhouse of the world; you can find anything that you barely find in other parts of the world but only in China. Not only do they sell in retail but the products are exported outside the country since people all around the world try to find opportunities to do business. You can order the products and request the supplier to modify and put your own brand in it.

In Western Economics, a little bit of inflation - that is anything over 0% is actually good for the economy as it means that there is activity going on. What is BAD is inflation over 2% and rising as it means that goods and services are increasing over the average standard of living and what people can afford. However, what is WORSE is if we have STAGFLATION - that is, a stagnant economy due to no productivity while inflation is growing. In China's case, where there is a LOW inflation of 0.1% - 0.2% is actually good for the country's economy. An inflation rate of 0% would mean that there is no economic activity - people are not spending at all and there is no cash flow happening and this is not good for the country's economy. A negative inflation in which the value of goods and services are actually falling may APPEAR to be good for consumers BUT actually bad as it means that businesses are going broke and shrinking which can herald a looming problem ahead. * note: I said "Western Economics" because this is the one that the world mostly looks at and apply their economic modeling and theories upon. Some other system may have their own opposing economic theory but that would be in the minority.
