The South China Sea dispute is escalating once again. Chinese and Philippine warships are on the verge of conflict in the Spratly Islands. Who is behind the South China Sea situation this time? Who’s really stirring up trouble, turning the South China Sea into a new warfront?
This struggle involves the strategic resources of the South China Sea and the interests of major powers. The presence of the USS Roosevelt aircraft carrier strike group further complicates the situation.

Wrong. “On 25 October 1971, the General Assembly adopted A/RES/2758 (XXVI) on the Restoration of the lawful rights of the People's Republic of China in the United Nations, "recognizing that the representatives of the Government of the People's Republic of China are the only lawful representatives of China to the United Nations”. The U.S. and all but 12 countries in the WORLD recognize Taiwan as part of China. In fact if you go back through China's 5,000 year old history, Taiwan was a province of China almost as far back as 2,000 years. Also what you don’t get is the people who live in Taiwan, other than the natives, are Chinese and their families are from China and most have family and relatives who live there. Nearly 2 million people in Taiwan work in China and travel back and forth. About the distance from Florida to Cuba. Today the Taiwan economy is having problems and the quality of life in China is better for most middle class families than in Taiwan. It is the most advanced economy in the world. Have a war, or if Taiwan declares independence the country would go to ruin and into dire poverty. The U.S isn’t going to lift a finger to send money to support its economy. We don’t want Americans dying for Taiwan OR the Philippines! If the U.S. forces a war between Taiwan and China, let the Philippines and Taiwan sacrifice their people for the U.S like Ukraine is doing for the U.S. with over 500,000 troops dead, and well over 1 million wounded, disabled to date. The Philippines economy would die along with Taiwan’s. Its economy is not that good and will not prosper without China.

Also, literally the entire planet is significantly reliant on Taiwan's semiconductor industry that china itself is struggling due to restricted availability of taiwanese semiconductors. And quality of life? Not even close. Sure there are quality of life aspects better in china but overall Taiwan is far cleaner, for one, people aren't shitting in the streets, they don't have miles of unoccupied cities, and there isn't what basically amounts to slavery when it comes to work like in china. As for strongest economy they are also not doing well at all. The Philippines did the same thing, and got an arbitrator to rule that Malaysia's state of Sabah belongs to the Philippines. Sabah is not some tiny inconsequential rock in the middle of the ocean. I know right? It's pretty refreshing after all of the previous voiceover videos, now we've got this alongside with the old format. Before anyone accusses the host as AI generated, here's my recent comment taken from another video: From my 5 minutes research, apparently he contributed articles for The Epoch Times (not sure if he's still with the team) from November 2018 until July 2022. The bio also said that he stayed in China for almost 7 years and fluent in Mandarin Chinese, which explains the way he pronounced Chinese words in every video that he narrated and anchored so far.

I don't believe that for a minute. China is perfectly willing to just buy the resources they need. They are a trading nation after all, quite unlike the US that doesn't really trade that much with the rest of the world. I don't know why you can't see it because it is as clear as day to me. All China wants to do is to keep the US military as far away from their country as possible. They'll never admit it because of the dumb "face" thing, but they're just scared of the US military because they've see what the US military can do. There's a lot of talk about how China has already caught up with the US, but it's all just bluster. They want it so bad, they'll probably be willing to give up any claims to all the resources, if in return, they get to keep the US military out. The smart thing for ASEAN to do would be to first setting their own overlapping claims by discussion among themselves, and once that is done, approach China, and get a really sweat deal.

Every country with claims on the South-China-Sea is concern about the current escalation and the possibly of an open hot confrontation between the PLA Naval Forces with the Philippines. Sadly, all, these countries are rather afraid to confront the MAIN aggressor ... the Chinese Communist party. Without the U.S.A. presence, with its U.S. Carrier Strike Group(s), in the South-China-Sea, a War Conflict would have had already broken out, with Chinese Naval Forces destroying all and the entire Philippines Naval Fleet and possibly, the PLA launching an invasion on the Philippine's Capital Manila.

If war comes, then the Chinese Navy will be joining the Iraqi Navy at the bottom of the sea. That’s not to say that the United States won’t be losing a few ships, but the United States has a lot more stand off range with precision weapons than China has, and the United States Navy will do a lot more damage than the Chinese Navy ever will… and we are not alone. We have Allie’s that we can depend on. China has Russia and North Korea, and maybe even Iran, but that’s about it.

China rarely attacks first in their history except for Hong Kong which they technically owned. My friends in Taiwan, locals don't expect war to happen now as she believes if China was going to attack they should have done it 5 years ago when they started the air patrols. There's a better chance of China taking over Laos, but that's essentially a proxy between Thailand and Vietnam.

..as China continues to have extreme internal strife and more importantly a growing dissatisfaction with their communist rule, the South China Sea combined with the high level of alert in the Taiwan strait will likely as not be the match that starts a regional to possibly a global level, kinetic war fare with China against its neighbors and likely as not, the rest of the global community.

The People's Republic of China's ownership of the islands in the South China Sea derives from its status as a victorious nation in the Second World War, and in accordance with the Bostan Proclamation and the Cairo Declaration, regarding the return of Japan's occupied Taiwan to the People' s Republic of China, while the Nanhai Islands were under the jurisdiction of Taiwan's Kaohsiung County, and at that time the Republic of China received important islands as the lawful representative of China. Then the People's Republic of China, as the legitimate representative of China, inherited this historic right, which the Philippines had no legal justification for
