I have reported like 14+ listings via the "report a violation" option and also by writing to Jeff but nothing helped :( Any advice? Btw love your content. Thank you so much for creating such amazing content.
So frustrating! These Chinese and foreign sellers are making Amazon horrible for US sellers trying to sell in their own country. Not fair for a factory to sell to US market all the way from China. We need a change on this with Amazon policy.
You have posted several such videos, like many other Amazon agencies have done as well, but I have yet seen one agency, just one, able to reveal how on earth can they pull these off. That must take some super insights into how Amazon operates that most people, including you guys have no idea about. Otherwise, can you show us, in a convincing way, how can they pull such feats off at all over and over again? That would be hugely appreciated, and demonstrate your true insights into the Amazon system, instead of just another Amazon agency guy, like so many out there. Everyone can "uncover" and "expose" these, but no one, you guys included, has yet can tell, in a convincing way, how can they pull these off.
I know exactly how they do it. It's easy. You grab an ASIn that isn't bran registered, then change the details, and take ownership. They always get caught. Eventually.
So frustrating, but nothing will probably come of it sadly. And even if it does, they will just pop up again under another name. Haven't seen them use a US address with their Chinese company name before, i thought Amazon actually removed the addresses but looks like you have to scroll further down now.
I am dealing a lot of this with almost all my ASINS and Amazon has not done anything! They believed this hijackers, it is soooo frustrating and I’m ready to quit my FBA!
I’ve had 4 hijackers on my Listing, and they low ball the offer to win buy box. 3 of them have 0% - 31% positive seller reviews, and yet somehow amazon allows them to win buy box
I understand your frustration. Dealing with hijackers on your Amazon listings can be very challenging. Amazon's algorithm for awarding the Buy Box takes many factors into account, including price, seller performance, and shipping options. Unfortunately, a low seller rating doesn't necessarily disqualify a seller from winning the Buy Box, especially if they are offering a significantly lower price. Here are some strategies you can use to combat hijackers: 1. Brand Registry: If you haven't already, register your brand with Amazon. This will give you more control over your listings and access to tools to help you manage and protect your brand. 2. Report to Amazon: Report the hijacker to Amazon. While this might not always result in immediate action, it's an important step. 3. Send a Cease and Desist letter: You can send a formal letter to the hijacker asking them to stop selling your product. This isn't always effective, but it can sometimes deter less serious hijackers. 4. Test Buy: Purchase the product from the hijacker. If it's counterfeit or significantly different from your product, you can report it to Amazon with evidence. 5. Legal action: If the problem persists and the hijacker is infringing on your intellectual property rights, you may want to consider taking legal action. Remember, each case can be unique, so it's always a good idea to consult with your legal advisor or an Amazon expert for the most effective strategy.
Amazon doesn’t do much about this stuff. They don’t do much about anything against their rules unless it’s a small American business owner, then your toast. Also, I’ve done the things your doing to turn these people in. Not only is it a waste of time, but why do it? They pop up like roaches.
It couldn't actually be the original butterfly listing changed into the current product presented. That could be linked with the hijacked original butterfly listings under variations and they were inactive and the reviews are sharing between all the asins under parent. Cuz there is a variation type is shown. Simply classic reviews gluing.
@@bluewellATV they're not replying yet to me but I feel like the Brand Registry will tell me that I need to fill out a form again through Report Infringement website lol. 😅
Just saw tonight wrong category so they rank best sell. Smart but when your selling head phones under snow shovel category. Kinda not hard to be best seller badge.
Hey Steven, So tell me what would you do if this was your own asin that you noticed had been hijacked? I had this situation just this week. Got helium 10 alerts saying the description and bullets were changed on 3 listings, that I had deleted a few weeks ago, in an attempt to clean up my inventory page, because I no longer sold these products. I didn’t want to report the listings through normal channels as these were listings still attached to my brand. I am brand registered, but it turns out 1 of the 3 asins was for some reason not attached to my brand. The other 2 were still. With the non branded one, they managed to change the brand from mine to theirs, but the 2 branded ones, they still managed to changed the bullets and description (but hadn’t yet managed to change the brand to theirs). Brand reg and seller support kept telling me to do an official Abuse Submission which I kept telling them I can’t, as I’d be reporting myself. They didn’t seem to get this. One of the many cases I opened, someone actually did change the listing back to my brand. Then I used a flat file to relist the items back into my inventory and Brand reg are now currently re attaching that one asin back under our brand. I could see this brand had done this to hundreds of listings.
Hey buddy what if they get fake reviews related to their product so they cheating by constantly getting some one else review their item by purchasing it and you don’t know which review is fake or real for you to click report ? So they will get review lot faster then any one else They selling lot less for example he sells 50 a month and gets same reviews as some one selling 600 a month :S and they are verified it doesn’t make sense and hard work doesn’t count now a days 😅
I dont understand. Why they create fake review without irrelevant butterfly ? If they not so silly using the butterfly how can I identify the fake review and report ?
I have been working with amz sellers for a long time. Chinese or American or European. Everyone cheats. Just that chinese are beating the rest at this game. Rank and review manipulation is the bread and butter of amz sellers. Long before the Chinese came to this party the Americans had already built up the grey hat industry.
