Chinese ATV No Spark

This is an AC cdi circuit. With a DC cdi circuit you need a 12v input (not the red and black wire). If you hook up a DC cdi this way, you will fry the cdi box.

Dade I buy a 110cc Chinese 4 wheeler. And it didn't run bad wiring and I watch ur video and I don't know shit about rewire 4 wheeler or bike . I did what u say on ur video and man it take me 15 minutes to strip everything down on a Wire and I rewire from scratch like you did and I put a kill switch and starter button on it and the damn thing fired up. Thanks u keep up the good job .

Man why didn't I find your video first...grrrr. This ATV of mine ran when I parked it. Cleaned it up and then no spark. I already bought a new coil and it still didn't work. I had to remove the plastics again to get to the other connections under the fuel tank. Finally I have spark again...Thanks to your video

Man I'm not a video person myself and I have seen plenty of them but let me tell you you are the only person that really breaks it down the way it's supposed to be done I hope to see more of your videos and on top of that I have a situation with a moped that I cannot get no fire to and when I do it dies I don't know if it's the wiring I just don't know I've tried it all my friend

Good video and theory to create spark. However, I believe you should also show the viewers where to ground the stator itself because you only showed how to ground the spark plug coil and cdi box. Otherwise, this method works because I tried it before I even saw this video and the quad started and I rode it down the street & then the stator exploded.

Wish I seen this video 30 min's ago before I sold my kids go kart...I could have wired it up myself and kept it.

Don't forget the ignition switch to as it was a new one had that problem.

Mike I know this video is old but I need your help I’ve asked atleast 20 people and no one know how to help but I can’t find my exact part mine has 3 wires plus the one for the sensor but when I look up the part I can’t find any except a 3 wire plus 2 wires I could really use your help I tried wiring your system up wire from wire but my magneto doesn’t have the same wires I wired each of the 3 up after figuring out which one ran the sensor but out of the 3 wires I tested all 3 with no clue which one to start with and still no luck Thanks for reading this and thank you for helping you definitely have my sub

I am trying to get spark on a Chinese go-kart. I put the kit in it that has the new cdi, regulator, coil, and solenoid. I can get it to turn over but no spark. Every time I connect the hot wire back up it chirps loud two quick chirps. I have found the remote kill box and should be able to just unplug it to get spark. But still no spark. The neighbor owns it and list the fob. I sure would appreciate your input.

Good video . But what are the normal voltage outputs from the stator to the ignion box and from the box to the coil ? So the system can be tested for what component failed .

I took the wiring harness and engine off a 200cc enduro motorcycle how can I go about bypassing the key ignition wires basically I'm tryin to figure out how to make a wiring harness out of the old harness that came off the bike it ran before I took it off but I cant get starter to crank and cant use kick start. Reason why I cant use kick start is because i swapped it on my 1985 Honda atc 185s and kick start cant travel far enough.

I'm gonna go try it see if that works now if I do that and still no spark how will I know if it's the cdi coil or stator and what about the rectifier isn't it supposed to be in there somewhere please you have other videos on these

The one I was working on would start up and lose spark shortly after, I unplugged the remote start and now it stays running.
