Love how you keep it real. What happened to the dumplings? You did well if you ate all of that 🤣 You can keep things warm in a small pan offset on the fire; a hot rock works well as a food warmer too. We warm our metal plates near the fire when it’s cold, great when it’s 4°c!

When i'm coating meat with a flour mixture, I use a freezer bag, put all the flours and spices into said bag, then add meat, keep a fair bit of air in it, twist the top and roll it around. kind of like a ballon half filled with something and still full of air, it allows you to really roll the stuf around, keep your hands clean and gets great results every time.

While you can get the chicken stock at Woolies, the ones usually sold there have a ton of celery in them and in our house, that is an executable offense :) That was pretty ambitious for a campsite meal.

Never been a big fan of sweet and sour myself. I generally judge a restaurant on its Schezuan chicken. I love potstickers and missed them entirely. You had a sauce and all, too. Were they just left out or did they burn? And as an American I've never heard "Woostersher" mis-pronounced but maybe I don't get out enough.
