Chinese Crested Screams Like A Banshee Over A Nail Trimming 

Our Chinese Crested has a real bugaboo about getting her nails trimmed. It's so bad we have to use the vet to trim them and HE has to get an assistant to hold her still, tiny as she is! If they're not trimmed regularly they get long and curly in no time. She hates it and screams so violently her tongue turns blue! Afterwards though, she's happy. Though she gets totally unglued, I refuse to sedate a pet over something so innocuous as a nail trim, and, no, she's never been hurt having them trimmed before. She's not being hurt here either. She's ALWAYS been this way since she was a puppy.
