@@jimoneprism He is not. I live in Mexico. Unfortunately everything he says is true, or at least is considered a real possibility (Some things about this topic are impossible to tell for certain).
I think a lot of people are myself included, I saw Ross kemp episode (worlds most dangerous gangs) a while back, when the drug war was at its max, he interviewed so guys running the drug war and then he talk to some cartel members and I was blown away at how the guy running the drug war seem to have no idea he was fighting, he really seemed to have no idea who he was fight, he thought there was only one or to cartels in Mexico
Angel Zanetti - yeah u definitely get a feeling of being able to do whatever the hell u want down there... which has proven to get ugly in the wrong hands
@@seahog1911 My family owns companies within Shandong and Guangzhou. The government does not own any part of the companies and don't own 51% of every company in China. Stop spreading bullshit lies.
The chines government requires a member of the party or a certain percentage of stock in companies that are very large as a way to control market forces in there favourite it’s how foreign companies are outcompeted by brand new chines companies very quickly take the train industry for example.
Ghastly_Grinner will it? There not a large enough percentage to sway the needed progression and incentives of a free market but they are powerful enough to ensure that those companies don’t stray from the party lines think of it as a modern version of the east India company for example. Not state owned but state backed and influenced.
Afyon I wouldn’t be complaining if I were you, compared to basically every other country outside of Europe and aus, USA is a fucking utopia. Have a look around and at the conditions in China and India, and all the countries in Central Asia that are constantly in war and conflict. The fact that you can walk around your town/city and know that you are safe from being kidnapped/mugged/raped in of itself it safe. I don’t even live in USA and I know that it is a extremely safe and gifted nation, and I think your just talking out of your ass about the nazis. Be more greatful
Afyon Please stop trying to make America seem like it’s hell on earth. The likelihood of a student being killed in a school shooting while tragic is 1 in 2 million. You’re more likely to be killed driving to the grocery store than in a mass shooting. And Nazis everywhere? Really? There’s pockets of dickhead Neo-Nazis scattered across the US but no, chances are your neighbor is not a Nazi. And chances are the cashier at Walmart is not a Nazi as well. Unless of course your definition of Nazi is different than mine. There are valid criticisms of the US and we are far from perfect, but to act like the US isn’t relatively safe and secure when compared to a place like Mexico is frankly foolish.
@Afyon I live in maryland, USA. The US is too big to talk about it like its 1 thing. For example, in some states having a ounce of weed on you will get you a prison sentence and they will make your life harder till you die or leave. While in others you can openly smoke and carry an ounce on you. In all states though, you can't drink alcohol and drive at all,no open containers and nothing in your system or you'll get fucked, they take that very seriously and they punish harshly. Basically in the US, have fun at your own risk you may be punished for having too much fun. While in Mexico, thats just not the case you basically do whatever you want at anytime, but so can the cartels and they'll never be investigated or brought to justice .Also you can't play loud music at anytime anywhere like you can in mexico, little things like that can make you feel a little more "oppressed" than other places, but its fucking worth it in my opinion, do you think your safer in Mexico or the US?
I am an American. My husband is a full-blooded Mexican we have been together over 20 years it blows my mind that Mexico is our next-door neighbors yet our cultures are very different. Also I don’t know how America would survive without Mexicans. I’m not saying this because I’m married to a Mexican. I say this because so many young children come every day and help the farmers. They get paid much less than minimum wage and many are very young. Our government knows it’s happening nobody else wants to do that backbreaking work. I’ve never been to any beaches or any tourist areas In Mexico. The people are so kind
A buddy's mate was head security at a Mexican mine he was approached with a deal he politely declined and a few days later a cooler was delivered to the work site with his name on it,there was a severed head inside.Hes back in oz now
You are concerned about drugs only the communist and leftist throughout the world are directly funded by Chinese which means if there is a a black lives matter riot or a gender equality stupidity or I support for terrorism group or bombings or terrorist attacks anywhere in the world they are all directly funded by china. This money route goes like this from china to pakistan to Afghanistan to turkey and then to the entire leftists and terrorists. Turkey is the accountant for entire terrorist organisations throughout the world. if the world wants peace, you have to destroy the entire leftist ideology, that means china, pakistan, afghanistan and most importantly turkey.
I was in Michoacán this pass Jan. Beautiful place to visit. Everyone friendly and didn’t see any violence at all even going into none tourist places. Just amazing.
a lot of places in mexico are beautiful but this guy and really the state department also advise you not travel any further than the resorts or tourist locations plus most americans are fine for the most psrt
For everyone who says; mexico is just save for the tourist, we’ll let me tell ya, I’m 28 years old and me and my family we live an amazing and free live, I can be walking free out at night, so … I went to California and is horrible, fucking people asking you for money, shootings in the streets, the place is like hell.
@@krishm16the hotels owned by cartels ? That’s the nos ridiculous thing, my family have an hotel in Playa del Carmen Mexico and they are not narcos wtf people, stop watching the bbc 🤣
Since I live in the center of Mexico. The drug war rarely touched us. Cartels wouldn't dare touch Mexico city. They knew if they did it would be crossing the line. The government would come down hard and fast. You don't bite the hand that feeds you.
Mexico City is the heart of Mexico and the largest city in North America, even larger then New York City…cartels have property there but don’t start anything in that city since that’s where the head of the government is.
My guess is that it has to do with being less organized. Being less organized allows for more freedom, but also comes at the cost of having weaker infrastructure and less stability.
@@findingmemo322 I'm just stating that the more organized you are, the more stable you are. That stability offers more sustainable security, but it requires more accountability and consequentially, it allows for less open "chaotic" freedom.
In certain aspects definitely, small things like having a party and never having a noise complaint called on you. You can drink in the back of a car as long as you're not driving, drinking age is 18, etc.
@@findingmemo322 you dont see alot of stability in the US right now? The low unemployment rates and stock market indicators say different. Not sure what kind of non sense your friend is telling you other than he came to Mexico with some $$$$ and can stretch it farther with his spending in some places (financial freedom) otherwise he's talking out his ass. I'm not saying Mexico is bad but theres a reason why so many Mexicans are trying to come here and its 100% based on potential fiscal stability
Some people in Michoacán were being killed and burned because they weren’t letting the Chinese and Templar alliance cut down there forest, Chinese were cutting down very important trees and shipping them to China illegally, people that lived in the forest were slaves for 4 years cutting down their own trees some got away then they joined the auto defense group, this guy that works for the Mexican government twisted the truth damn near calling the people who defend themselves from terrorist are the terrorist.
Sonora is not as bad as they are making it out to be I take $150,000 sprinter van down there annually about three weeks three times a year I am paralyzed from the neck down and never have I ever had a problem in Mexico. And who’s complaining about giving the cops $20 it cost twice that much in fines and time in America. They are just more efficient and honest with their corruption they don’t cover it up like we do here in the US
This 🥷 cap af shut your dumb ahh mouth fam 😂 if your ass paralyzed and traveling routinely to Mexico then I’m the first man to ever step foot on the moon 😅 like what a ridiculous post and follow up my guy.. sooooo believable
The so-called War on Drugs did not age well. Having said that, foreigners still go to places like Chichen Itza and tourism is strong in Mexico. Americans in particular love to walk around when they realize people go on foot to nearby places, as opposed to some places in the States where no one’s ever on the sidewalks.
Yeah, Chitzen Itza was one of the worst examples. Honestly the violence is very regional. People actually think Mexico City is really dangerous for tourists and that's so preposterous, never even been pockpocketed in that massive metropolis. The vast, vast, vast majority of Mexican people are super friendly, helpful and honest (there is a cultural thing that Mexicans themselves joke about of giving vague directions when you don't really know the answer, but it's because they feel it would be rude to not help, they want to help).
Cartel has ALOT of influence. Why is he not talking about major cartel influence & partnerships within United States? Because that's the real protected operation.
Its funny if a person wanted to and knew the "right people" they can get prescription grade promethazine with codeine as well as other drugs, fentanyl, etc, and the "right people" are usually gang tied people that are in gang tied unsafe areas, basically i say all this to say this, I live in the US, Cartel definitely has a lot of influence here, criminal influence that its, all these guys fucking admire the cartel and praise them, so if an actual Cartel member came to them and offered them a business opportunity, no way in hell there saying no, people do a lot of things for money. Old news
This is common knowledge here, and he didn't talk about it because his thing is Mexico, I'm not sure he knows to much about the underground of america maybe he does but he definitely won't talk about it
im so glad you told us about your uncle who everybody has heard of. I was losing sleep these past several days wondering what happened to this nerd on youtubes uncle in the thumbnail. Im so relieved, I can get sleep now. Your comment, @Chamoy sandoval was so useful to this conversation. I can sleep now.
You got it Joe! They are safe, until they are not... A month ago, we had an armed commando (full tactical gear) of about 15 guys close our block (about 20 feet from my doorway) and take a "phys-ed highschool teacher" who lives 6 houses down the block from me... We guessed it was for interrogation because he was later released in the early morning... Highschool teacher my ass, driving around in new cars and doubling the size of his house last year (with the wages we get paid?)... We live in a society of incompetence, corruption and simulation... Quite frankly I am sick of it... I was born mexican but I do not let myself be brain washed anymore by "national pride"... Rest assure my bones will not lay on this swamp...

As a visitor of TJ in the late 90's it was scary as fuck. I got robbed by a kid hiding in clothing rack. Chased him bout 15 feet and a guy stepped out and blocked me with his finger to his lips and said shhh. I was all like 😳 ✔No problem. It was only a few hundred dollars anyways right??? 😢😭.
- 2005 is when felipe calderon headed the office and militarized the war on drugs dramatically changing the country - cartels started fragmenting more, competing more w/ more violence, and growing more in scope and power general - gov militarily sides with the most established, most organized cartel and fought against the weaker ones, picking sides, because they want to they want the most stable, and most organized criminal group to be the one to keep crime and violence "organized"with the hope that the crime syndicates would be integrated into the nations apparatus - like russia japan italy china having the crime organizations brought into the fold so that they can ultimately be used to further the interests of the nation in ways the legal side cannot do -el chapo is definitely not the sole leader of the sinaloa cartel - it is a conglomerate/federation cartel made of many different groups - Now hes used by both the sinaloa cartel and the gov as a convenient figure head - Sinaloa cartel uses him so that they can hide its real leaders and misdirect others, and used by the gov to actually have something/one tangible to attack and make public show of. -China has a lot of interest in mexico - china sides with and arms cartels groups in regions to help them illegally extract valuable natural resources from the country [ exact same play the west does in african to extract resources from the nations rich with valuable natural resources ]
I just encountered his blog/website... allright, first of all, quit calling it a manifesto NOW! also, invite him on again and talk about his time in the indonesian millitary!
Idk I kinda don't trust this dude. I feel like he's trying to make himself famous by talking something thats scary & blowing it up thats how he made it to JRE. Kinda like how mencia made fun of his own ppl day & night to gain fame
A lot of us whose parents or grandparents were born in Mexico and came to US to give birth sometimes go back to Mexico to live with the rest of the family, the unfortunate one’s.
Sólo que en USA el mexicano es a second hand citizen. Aquí en México ya expulsamos al PRIAN, un U. S: puppet, y ya poco a poco van mejorando las cosas. Saludos.
I'm from Sinaloa, live in Baja, and plead the 5th for the rest. But one thing I can say, all this information he is stating is not actual insight. It's all the superficial information you can find online from the cartel blogs and Mexico media. There's some truth to it, but not the underlying truth. Unless you live this life with us, you'll never know.
Yeah, mos def. They give out presents to the local communities, fix roads, donate, open clinics in rural areas, etc. At times, they offer more than the Mexican gov't does. Which is a sad truth.
He’s been on twice and frequently goes down to Mexico and southern states to train tourist and law enforcement what to do in potential hostage situation and shows people how to make weapons out of everyday items and how to fight with those newly made weapons. It’s been almost 3 years since he’s been on the JRE and he’s thriving
Joe should make a rule that everyone who comes on the podcast has to shave there heads before they start that way there knowledge can reach us as fast as Joe's knowledge reaches us
The lithium issue is a complicated one. Evaporation ponds are used and are toxic outdated methods which use water, take years, depends on the sun, and they lay out in the open leaving them vulnerable to “interference” We need technology like the USA’s ABTC to purify lithium brine in a more efficient, eco friendly manner!
Yesss this is so true specially around michoacan close to where I lived down the coast and not just coal but all types of presious and rare metal meteor rocks that often washed off by the creeks near the mountains but nobody talks about this or even know...
Regarding Columbia circa mid to late 80s. It was not unusual for Warrant Officers with Army CID flying out of Atlanta to Bogota and the situation there was essentially contained by a variety of circumstances via negotiation and violence. The northern provinces of Mexico are and have been engaged in nothing short of a Full Blown Civil War. China Aka Peoples Liberation Army should never EVER be underestimated and they control the Panama Canal for example.
If the public heads of cartels aren't the true leaders, why is there always such a power vacuum when one of them is killed/arrested? Why would a cartel split in 2 and fight each other if it was all the same guy?
