Chinese military said it "drove away" the US destroyer USS Halsey in the territorial waters of the Paracel Islands in the South China Sea on May 10. The Southern Theater Command of the People's Liberation Army said in a statement that the "US move seriously infringed on China's sovereignty and security." The US Navy said, "The destroyer asserted navigational rights and freedoms in the South China Sea near the Paracel Islands consistent with international law." Watch

look at russia due to the invasion when war is over they will not be counted as top of world best military, rather than gain they loss a lot. Ukraine still kicking and waiting for the aid and if they can hold for awhile sooner those land captured by russia will be easy to retake. Actually, China only has 2 deployable aircraft carriers at the moment; the 3rd one is still trying to get its "sea legs" going. Even so, the majority of their fleet is all coastal because their logistics and the reliance of fuel.

China's navy is trying to become the world's #1 navy. However, they will never achieve that status due to their lack of logistics and not being able to operate in blue waters (open ocean). All of their "targets" (surface ships) are primarily good for is coastal defense.

I tend to sense a bias in the reporting from the Hindustan Times which is reinforced by the comments of those following its channel. The expressions used by its journalists and editors does tend to undermine any semblance of balanced or truthful reporting, which is a great pity as India used to have a reputation of "fair play" which you would expect from a cricketing nation!
