Well, it must get lonely if you're out on patrol with your platoon and you're miles away from home and missing your wife. I think it's very thoughtful of the Chinese army to provide a means of releasing that pent up sexual frustration, lol!
If you take a picture and let it translate you will get clearer results. Sometimes the live translate doesn't quite catch the characters properly changing the meaning. #LifeInChina haha
Gundog rocks, and all the rations community is amazing. The pastry looks good. Google translate is funny. You should have seen what came up on mine when I tried a russian ration. Great review thanks.
I saw you post this on Instagram the other day and I've been checking RU-vid ever since for it!!! I love the international MREs, they're so freakin interesting! I was hoping the sexy sausage would be sexier 😂😂😂
Also emmy do you ever remember certain people who comment on your channel? I know you've replied to me multiple times but i was just curious if my name seems somewhat familiar?
Dazhane Johnson I'm sorry but my google translate in iPhone doesn't do that so I must take pic first then translate it . So can u plz tell me what's yours or how to do that too ?!?! Thank u 😊
Even tho I think someone already did it I'm still putting this translation up. This a 09 Self-Heating Ration Pack. It's a Curry Rice Pack The paste/sauce included is a hot chilli paste/sauce (I here predict is Lao Gan Ma) Syrup Pineapple, Beef Sausage, Gatorade power, and Roasted Cookies with Filling. I find it interesting that not much description is provided xD Thank you Emmy for tasting the pack. (Btw I suspect that the package is green is probably due to liberation army is the land-based army, their uniform and backpacks are all in the colour of deep army green, if not camouflaged. :D)
After watching all the MRE vids, I think the food in the square aluminum foil looking tins seems to look better then the wet food in pouches (always looks mushy) or the freeze dried (has a strange consistency to me)
The camera feature in google translate is very useful while traveling. Although, I'm surprised it couldn't read "curry". Maybe because it's a phonetic word in Chinese?
I love Google Translate, it makes non English language MRE's something of fun gastronomic guessing game. Although I must admit the Russian "Tissues in meat sauce" was quite tasty (it was meatballs).
Hey Emmy! I love watching your MRE tasting videos ^^ The package says Curry Fried Rice in case anyone was wondering~ Can't wait to watch more of your videos!
Emmy please make a chef boyardee canned food taste test!! You've made the spam one, dollar store food and also self heating food..thanks :) much love!!!
I wish Google could translate items in their cafeteria to all languages around the world. Their supreme quality service flavored everything to an unimaginably sexy level.
*TOP TIP For other MRE / Ration binge watchers .... Select settings, click on playback speed, select 1.25 or 1.5* (dont go higher unless you want a giggle) and you can watch more videos in a short time whilst still being able to enjoy ... otherwise you'll end up going to bed at 5am again! ;)
Emmy! I wish you would have shown the actual chinese words in addition to the translation. I wanted to see if I could read them and see what they're actually supposed to be without having to pause at the exact moment google translate wasn't translating. ☹️ i love the chinese pla rations though, i'd be interested to see more!
I wasn't expecting much from china's MRE, and it was pretty much what I expected. They don't seem like they would be too concerned about things like that.
What's about this camera translation on her iPhone?!?! Cause mine is totally different than hers lol it's google translate but must take pic first then translate it 🙁 So plz can anyone tell me that app ?!?! Thank u 😊🌸
I think tea culture in China is somewhat separate from the food culture. I've seen lots of Chinese people carry around thermoses of loose-leaf tea, but I haven't noticed it getting served with meals all that much--(from Henan ;-). You're much more likely to get a watery soup with your meal.
I subscribed, love your military rations tastings, I wanna try the JSDF looked so tasty, I also watch kiwidude as well. Prison menu is awesome as well. Keep up the good work emmymadeinjapan
ur supposed to take a picture of the text that needs translation, then it asks you to select the text to translate and it'll give you a translation that isn't constantly moving
The date inked on the bag is most likely the date it was packaged. When i was in China, most of the packaging for food items had the production date and i dont think I've ever seen an expectation date.
I've learned that the Kiwis (which tasting I watched just before this one) are definitely more generous with their extras in a military ration. Still, this would certainly give you a full stomach and keep you going.
These videos makes me feel some kind of humanity with all the soldiers throughout the world; they might be on different sides but at the end of the day, they are all human beings deserving of a decent meal for their labors. Big ups to the unknown kitchen krewes and meal planners who try to make their existence more tolerable.
Just have to love Google Translate. Seldom does it get things right. Lol. I was laughing so hard at the translations I almost choked. Great video as always.
china has these new instant meals that work like the MREs with a heat pack and water. it's instant mala (麻辣 - numbingly spicy) hot pot in a box. hope you can try this!
if people didnt know , the chinese ration are really small because they dont use that often, they have 3-5 chefs that will set up a full size kitchen and finish cooking for under 30mins .
It's not telling her the right thing. It wont tell you the right thing unless you press the camera to take a picture and then trace the words with your finger. Trust me I use it for my Spanish class all of the time.
