You're eating the claypot rice wrong. You're not suppose to mix the side and let it form a crust and then eat that. that's basically the best part of the claypot rice.
I can see a lot of work you put in making the videos. I know the stories of each dish because I grew up in China but for foreigners to visit and be able to describe each dish like that, it’s something to applaud for! Keep up the good work!
Luke your videos are such an incredible learning experience. These videos should be used in the schools for multiple reasons. The education value you give representing an enormous vast diverse culinary platform is unprecedented . Your tours are so incredible because of how you respectfully and lovingly share the unique truth about the worlds culinary existence. Now I'm starving ! Awesome

I love Northern China, but I have to admit the Southern regions have some of the best food, Cantonese style food is one of my favs right next to Sichuan. I loved this video! BTW-Some people when they have steamed rice in clay pots would put water in the bottom let it sit and drink the rice water...I wonder if you guys have heard of them doing that.
I ve been waiting for this series for so long as you know I stayed in GZ for years. it is 3:35 a.m here though, I am so excited to have seen your new videos regarding GZ food. looking forward to the following episodes & I sincerely hope you and Sabrina have enjoyed yourselves during the trip in GZ. :D
Hey Sabrina, my daughter HAS to know where you got your glasses or she won't stop bugging me... Great video guys! Now I know chicken have feet and not paws... ;-)
Mushrooms looked very interesting. I like to try the claypot rice. We have it here where I live but I think the one there should taste very different, and the best part is it has vegetables in it making it a complete meal. 😋
Hi Luke I love dim sum it’s awesome, those char siu boa are my favourite also, they’re so good and highly addictive lol but those egg tarts are what I want to try, I’m watching this on an empty stomach, bad idea 🙈
"Char Siu"-Honey Barbeque Pork is his favorites. He had the buns for dim sum and one in the box. Double Skins Milk is far off from Egg Tarts. He should order Deep Fried Milk during the dim sum that is similar to his dessert. I would order preserved meats for the my clay pot rice.
