25$ on amazon as of today. I own one of these, if your old lady has a decent sewing machine that could handle canvas or denim you could sew a dump pouch or other extras.
Hey dude, question, would you consider it offensive to wear historic kit as im fasinated with the us vietnam loudouts and am currently building one. But this vice reporter says stuff like this is offensive and now im worried as i love the kit and want to get closer to history pluse im from Britain so dose it make it worse?
It shouldn't esspical for that type of role your using it for. But if someone says it's offensive tell them to mind there own damn business and worry about something else rather than worrying about you wearing a cool pice of gear
Dude, use a historical piece of equipment anytime and all the time. I am using the type 56 5 mag bag as an every day carry and I use the chicom 56 chest rig in conjunction with my AR, HK MR556 and AK 47. Those historical pieces are .uch better quality than what you find today, lighter, and way simpler and less complicated than those chest riggs they use today.
@@brananandreu4086 Thanks. I would not recommend this for AR-15 mags as they are shorter and smaller than AK mags and not as accessible in the pouch. Definitely get a proper AR mag pouch.
@@WASPfreak Bad advice mate it can be used for AR mags...just spend a few minutes cutting a few bits of reasonably dense foam such as used in gun cases to fit in bottom of each compartment so the mags sit at the desired height and it's perfectly acceptable. Was commonly done with type 56 chest rigs in Vietnam just by stuffing plastic wrapped spare socks/dressings etc in bottom of each pouch
