Zosya were responsible for Angels, from a couple of years ago and one of the best looking Spectrum games I've seen. Seraphima appears to be a development of that game.

Speccy Soccer looks great fun. Seems to capture a lot of the charm of the original that we all loved. Will be trying that

Great little video Chinny. I always like the format of five new games for the Amstrad/Spectrum. I need to try out Speccy soccer and Johnny the Ghost.

Jarring to see the Wolves team on the old Speccy having players like Hueng Hee Chan, very much the 2024 side.

So the Spectrum finally has a conversion of Microprose Soccer!

It just proves that when developers take their time over games the results are far better & what the Spectrum can Really Do.

Thr first game looks amazing . Yes they could do with fixing the restart issue but otherwise prob the most impressive speccy game ever

The puzzle game to get the treaures was originally called CatTrap. I think it may have been released on msx or pc88 first but the easiest version to get is the Gameboy version.

*1. Seraphima* - a good game let down by its broken restart mechanic. I think more time was spent on the main sprite's... assets, shall we say... than making the game's story make sense. Gameplay and visuals are awesome, though, ditto the music. *2. Cursed Castle* - easy to pick up and play, even if the jump controls are pickier than a coffee snob at a Starbucks. I can totally see this blending in with Dinamic, Mastertronic and Codemasters titles from back in the day. *3. Speccy Soccer* - a valiant effort to do Sensible Soccer on the Spectrum complete with some basic management features, though I'd still prefer Gazza 2 (at least in that game, you can easily tell the difference between players as to which team they're meant to represent), although I will give credit where credit is due and say it is fluid and smooth, so it's a fun experience overall. *4. Pacman* - frankly, I'm surprised this didn't get ported to the Spectrum earlier during its heyday, it would have been one hell of a success. *5. Johnny the Ghost* - reminds me a little bit of Ghost Castle, as well as Bubble Ghost on the Amiga. Worth checking out if you're a puzzle fan or if you want something a bit different when compared to typical platformers.

The Amigos reviewed _Seraphima_ on _Our Sinclair_ a few months back and they loved it! (m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mlVGn7dsRlU.html) The Pac-Man conversion is impressive! I wish the devs had tried to get a licensing deal with Namco because their effort and the result clearly deserve official recognition! The graphics are indeed lovely in that puzzle game, it's crazy how contemporary artists have managed to make the best use of the Speccy limitations but I have a feeling that the coders may also be switching color attributes mid character to increase the number of colors (it really looks like there are more than 2 colors per 8x8 block). Thanks for the video Chinny, I will definitely be playing some of those!

Four great games and a dodgy soccer ball game.

I like the look of the Seraphima but it looks like it has too many flaws for me to enjoy it. Cursed Castle looks good, was that an AGD game? Not really interested in soccer or Pac-Man. Johnny The Ghost reminds me of my Jewel Warehouse games.
