Ooo, chipmunks are so cute. My husband and I befriended a wild squirrel. He entered my house once, stopped on the carpet, stared at it, then went flat like a squirrel rug with arms and legs out, and scooted himself forward on his belly. Was really funny.

I appreciated his nuanced take on the lack of a backlight. I hadn't really considered that argument before

Awhile ago i would sit in the sun and play gameboy. Fairy wrens would gather and attempt to communicate with the high pitched gameboy, they seemed to like the sound.

Shame there was no Chip and Dale game released on the Gameboy :D

I had 4 thoughts while watching this, you know, aside from the obvious that this is adorable beyond words. 1.) It's like a Gameboy Color Vending Machine! 2.) I want a Gameboy Color Vending Machine! 3.) I wonder if there are Gameboy Color or even just regular Gameboy Vending Machines? 4.) Don't do it. Don't look it up. It probably does exist. It's probably in Japan and likely in the last place I'd ever expect it to be. Addendum: I broke and looked it up. It DOES exist! However it's more literal than I thought it would be. It's a vending machine that dispenses Gameboy games, because of course something like that exists.

Oh hey. What's the Chipmunks name ? Mr. (Or Ms) Cheeks ? When I was a little kid we had a pet Gray Squirrel. It had a little baby bottle it would drink out of and it was so cute. It would come inside and outside and sleep with you. Later on in life I trained a bunch of Scrub Jays. I could walk outside and put my hand out and have these birds glide into my hand. I guess I have always been good at making friends with the local wildlife.
