He is a comedian of excellent quality but his material is only relatable to a select few. Take Jim Gaffigan, for instance. His material is universally relatable and totally clean too.

@@kylemcgrady9756 it means 'don't you have anything moist to go with the dry chips'. In the North of England (where he is from) they can still say 'thou' (a medieval word) to mean 'you' PLUS in the South its the norm not to have peas or gravy so much on chips

You can definitely get gravy in chippies down south, and curry sauce. I can 100% confirm that, because I get both every time from my local chippy in London!

Of course you can get curry sauce and gravy down south. I lived in Bristol for 30 years, virtually every chippy sells them. And battered burgers, which is a delicacy........a million times better than mushy peas....

Simon that’s literally what a cutaway is. It’s an action that suddenly cut to something else, and seeing as the man blowing his nose had nothing to do with the act it was pretty random too. Yes it was a planned cut but the sequence of event is random as the cut, which is a cutaway, has no bearing on any of the events before or after it which is the definition of random. Sorry your sad attempt and being a know it all was embarrassingly incorrect.

@I am not who you think I am They rarely have gravy or curry sauce, if at all. If you ask for it, you might as well be asking to burn their shop down, they get so horrified about it haha. One place was even funny about having ketchup!

@@williamrule6811 Utter Rubbish! Plenty of chippies down here have curry sauce and peas on the menu and I have never had any chippy get irritated about ketchup, you might get charged for a sachet of the stuff, but they won't get irritated. Peas are hit or miss though, most don't have peas.

@@tomjaww Totally agree. As a Southern Pansy I can confirm that Gravy and Curry Sauce are definitely on the menu down south... love getting fish, chips and curry sauce with loads of salt and vinegar! Peas on the other hand (like you said) are a bit hit and miss. Pea Fritters is something I've only ever seen on Northern chippy menu's.
