Good Character and faithfulness are the most important valuable traits in a man. So if the only complaint she had with her boyfriend of 8 years is that she's bored...then she is the problem. If she values not being bored , more than a responsible, faithful man then he needs to be the one getting out of the relationship. I am sure being in school to be a doctor requires sacrifice of " fun time ". She seems immature. 2. Stop letting these romance movies give you a false example of relationships. There will be days when you get bored, days when you get angry or sad. Days when you are sick. Nothing is fairy tale or perfect. 3. It's not your partner's job to make you happy or to entertain you. If the relationship needs spicing up...then you put in the work to add spice. Once careers, responsibilities and children are involved, you have to evolve and realize the relationship will be different. Just my 2 cents🤗
No one should be in a passionless, lackluster relationship-- that can make someone really unhappy. Of course there are up and down days as you stated, but you shouldn't be bored throughout the relationship.
I agree 100% with this comment. It is not another person's responsibility to make you happy. And leaving for that reason alone is a great way to develop a bad habit. This boredom is just a season. Spring is right behind winter for a reason.

I was in a dark place like a huge funk about two weeks ago. I just felt like i had nothing to look fwd to with being in the pandemic. Then i realized i was spending so much time investing in everyone else: my husband and kids. That i left NOTHING for myself. So it’s like you said you cant fill from an empty cup. You have to find what makes you happy. I booked myself a facial, went to eat at local lime for some tacos, and had a target date. I was gone for around 6 hours and told my husband I’d check in but please to just let me have some time to myself. I think everyone needs this every now and then or you start to lose sight of who you are.
Your right Teaira if you keep a man that cheated on you and you forgave him you can’t keep throwing it up in his face. I’ve been cheated on as well. I choose to forgive him that time, but he still treats you terrible it’s time to roll. My x husband was a liar cheater cared more about himself and his friends. I felt like a third class citizen! Omg. I got the divorce, I was young. When your young please don’t get prego. Give your marriage a couple of years to see how things are going to work out. Kids complicate things especially for you! We all have our cross to bear, so count it an honor as you go through your trials and tribulations. So, the Bible said God created man/woman in his own image, so us true Christian Believers know we will have crosses to bear but also know we’ll never walk alone knowing his strength will carry us through. Sometime when it seems like we’re having days when it seems like nothing is going right - - this, that, and the other thing is hitting you in the the face, sometimes it’s God’s way of getting our attention to slow down, give him his time, sometimes we’re so wrapped up in worldly things and get caught in that, we tend to push him aside, not realizing at the time that that is what we’re doing, but his love for us never waivers, so sometimes he has to give us a little tap on the shoulder to get our attention. Let’s count it a blessing in knowing that God loves us so much that he would take the time to come and see about us. He Loves us that much... so, when thing seem like everything is going wrong, then you already know - it’s time to sit down and have a little talk with Jesus and you’ll come through it with a better understanding and a Blessing! 🤎🙏🏾
It's so crazy how many people are going through this. I can relate, lost someone who I was extremely close to and I totally get what u mean when u say, it's the first time I lost someone so close. 5months later and I'm still crying but I promise you that these vlogs helped me get through it. She was my 1st cousin, my friend, my sister. Don't wish this pain on anybody! I have also gotten a new perspective in life too. I can't let anymore time pass without reaching for my best self! Why I'm here because I kept messing up everytime I came here and we both would pull together I would just be in a panic zone and run off. I love what you said about people treating their relationships with the same commitment as they do their jobs and checking in with each other by doing assessments. We NEED to normalize this type of dynamic and having purposeful communication with our partners, not just after we have a fight.
