Welcome to episode one of Chit Chat with Salt Lamp Gaming. A new RU-vid Series where I casually unbox games, select an album for us to listen to and slurp my coffee.
Next War: Iran is the latest offering in the Next War series from GMT Games. It centres on a hypothetical western invasion of Iran spearheaded by the US with potential for UK/Australian, French, UAE, Saudi, Qatar and Oman in support while Iran has access to China and Russia who may intervene on their behalf.
The game seems to be a very unique entrance in the series with more of an emphasis on Airspace operations (Missile and aircraft) and Naval operations. Of course the ground war is still modelled in but will no doubt be an extremely challenging logistical nightmare for the allies.
Join me as we look through the components and give a brief overview of what exactly Next War is and what to expect!
