I think she just needs that undisputable hit (have mercy was a hit but not HIT HIT) & boom...you have a new popstar who's actually worth the hype(she sings, writes ,dances, creates some of her own choreo, acts, can make an album for scratch ..production, mixing etc)

Interesting review and commentary 🤔. I thought her performance was good. I didn’t see stiffness just her performing the choreographed dance moves. Also, loads of people like Chloe. I think she’s very talented especially from the perspective that she sings, dances, writes her music and produces most of it and collaborates production on the rest.
Nahh people haven’t really been feeling neither music . They have something both in common they been holding off giving us actual vocals we know they can give . Treat me was cute but it didn’t give vocals till the end

I said the same thing! Oh and you forgot Cater 2 U Destiny’s Child’s live performance. I know everyone says “stop the Beyoncé comparison” but we literally can’t when Chloe keeps recycling Beyoncé’s past iconic moments with everything she does. It also doesn’t help that she works with Bey’s choreographer and stylist, that’s why every time she performs it always loos like a Beyoncé tribute.

Idk why it annoys me so much to see people at award shows with they phones out recording. Like bitch it's gonna be televised and all over the internet. Enjoy the moment , too busy fiddling with they phones instead of being fully engaged.

I agree with what you said. I like Chloe but I think her music / performances are focused on today’s generation / trends. Not a bad thing but like you said, it’s not the kind of music you’d want to download. It’s not terrible. Old school music just set the bar high for today’s music. But I’ll see how her album goes when she releases it. 👀
Honestly I'm not too worried because comparing this to her first performance of mercy at VMAs where she was as stiff and unprecise as a board she has progressed a large amount. Probably why Beyonce sent her that good job note is because she probably gave her some critiques last time and saw some decent improvement. What I am concerned about is hoping her entire album is not just freak me and twerk songs and she has some ballads/slow songs and variety in there
@@crispri3919 u clearly don't follow her. She said that Have Mercy and Treat Me are the only dance songs. Surprise and For The Night are freaky songs but slower tempos. The rest aren't gonna be like that. She has a song called Cheat Back that she teased which is like R&B with Country inspo. She said the rest of the album is gonna be slower songs cuz she wrote the album to uplift her and during times she was sad, angry, and not feeling motivated.
